over 6 years ago | Salam! Can you check this road way/635467083 please. There is a non-OSM tag attached. Maybe you can improve it. In case you need advice, just let me know. All the best to you!
over 6 years ago | Moin! Kleiner Tippfehler in den Tags... :-) Wäre es in diesem Fall nicht sogar sinnvoll zu löschen, oder wird dort nochmal Ähnliches installiert? Viele Grüße!
over 6 years ago | Changeset reverted due to above reasons.
over 6 years ago | Hello! Thank you for your edits. I noticed you introduced some tags that are usually not used in OSM. Please make sure to avoid adding non-OSM data like "CREASRC=OMM-DRD-CDD Paung TS mapping session" or "EDITCOM20190808=TZ" to objects. All information regarding the source of data should be added to the changeset itself (like you did). In case this was an import from some database please observe the rules concerning data imports into OSM, which you can find here: osm.wiki/Import If you need help, just let me know!
over 6 years ago | Hello! I noticed you added some information to OSM, which ist good. Please keep in mind that, in order to make data useful to other people, you have to tag objects according the OSM wiki (osm.wiki/Main_Page). Otherwise your entries can not be read by software using the OSM database. As an example here node/6037736148 there are many non-OSM tags attached. All address tags are not valid, and there is also some confusion with opening and collection times. Maybe you can reply here in the changeset and we can fix it together?
over 6 years ago | Changeset reverted due to above mentioned reasons.
over 6 years ago | You're welcome! You might want to check out this osm.wiki/Good_practice as well, as it contains some general information on how we do things.
over 6 years ago | Hello and welcome to OSM! Please be advised that OSM is a geographic database and not meant to place advertising. You can add the company, but this is not the place to post subjective information. In addition I would recommend to map the POI inside the building where it resides and not on the address node. I will adjust the tags accordingly. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. All the best!
over 6 years ago | Hello! Could you please check way/711379610 and adjust the tagging to something sensible? Thank you and all the best!
over 6 years ago | Same here way/711049507. Please be more careful when adding tags... Thank you!
over 6 years ago | A short comment here: We always try to preserve data, so we rather adjust the shape or tagging of an object than deleting and adding it again, which destroys object history (osm.wiki/Keep_the_history). Also, every feature in real life is represented by one feature in OSM (osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element). In this case there are now two schools. Once tagged on the way and once on the node. If you need help fixing let me know :-)
over 6 years ago | Hello and welcome to OSM! Please keep in mind that, in order to make data useful to other people, you have to tag objects according the OSM wiki (osm.wiki/Main_Page). Otherwise your entries can not be read by software using the OSM database. In this case there are several undocumented tags on the POI. Please also be aware that OSM is case sensitive. E.g. shop=car will be recognized, shop=Car not. A good link to read in the beginning: osm.wiki/Good_practice If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
over 6 years ago | Hello! I have reviewed your change and found "Grocery store=Продуктовый магазин" which is not fitting into the OSM tagging scheme. Maybe shop=grocery_store is correct. Also please check the naming of the POI, as we use only use the actual name for the name=* tag. If you need any help, just let me know :-)
| 73079699 | over 6 years ago | Hello and welcome to OSM! You added a POI here and added the tag IMPRENTAS=* to it. Please keep in mind that, in order to make data useful to other people, you have to tag objects according the OSM wiki (osm.wiki/Main_Page). Otherwise your entries can not be read by software using the OSM database. Also the POI should be placed to its actual location (e.g. inside a building). If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
over 6 years ago | Hello! Please check for non-OSM tags on this node node/6687287877. Thank you! -------------------------------------------- Hola! Por favor, compruebe si hay etiquetas no OSM en este nodo node/6687287877 Gracias!
over 6 years ago | Oh, and if you would like to continue improving OSM in the future, I can recommend to use https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ as an editor, which is much more powerful and safer to use than the browser built-in, as it gives you warnings for possible errors and has tons of tools that make you mapping easier.
over 6 years ago | Hello ckrailo and welcome to OSM! There are two different schemes in OSM to tag sidewalks or cycleways. The first and preferred one is on the road itself (using cycleway=* or sidewalk=*) and the second one is drawing a separate way and adding tags according highway=*. The latter is only used if there is structural separation between road and sidewalk / cycleway. Both schemes should not be mixed in the same place as this will confuse navigation software. If you have more questions, just let me know! All the best from across the pond!
over 6 years ago | Also please adjust the source in the changeset to the actual source, as the changeset is an import, so it can not be a "survey". Is the import documented anywhere? Please refer to osm.wiki/Import for more details.
over 6 years ago | Hello klain890! I noticed some of the relations you added here have strange tags that do not fit into the OSM tagging scheme. Please check https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/LnW to find examples. If you need any help, just let me know! All the best to you!
over 6 years ago | Hello! Can you please check way/711433135 and find out what h`r=yes means. Might be a tagging error. All the best to you!
