| 491203 | hadw | Based on Bing and the other tags, there is no way that this road is a primary road by the project Pakistan standards. My best guess is that it should be highway=unclassified. Also, if it has a name, I doubt that name is signed in the Latin alphabet, so I would expect to see any name being given in Urdu. I think it is quite likely that there is no name at all, but is only signed with a destination, in which case it should have destination:forward=کیسوپور ڈلہر rather than a name. Although "primary" is clearly wrong, an on the ground survey is needed to be certain about the exact category and the other details. | 491224 | hadw | There are two features purporting to name a village here, neither of which has a main tag. One is node and the other an area. This is further discussed on http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=53145 Either the area or the node should go. I suspect the area has been mapped arbitrarily, but if not requires details of an acceptable source. If it is arbitrary, it s the one that needs to go. On that basis, my best guess at the correct tagging for this is to use the node with just the following: place=hamlet
Where source is relative to the original mapper, so will need changing if someone from outside the place verifies and corrects the entry. The above should not be used without independently verifying the details. It is possible that it is large enough to justify place=village. I have reservations about the notability of the Wikipedia page, which appears to be original research by the mapper, and would think an Urdu page would be better if, and when, available. There appear to be many other unmapped settlements in the area. |
