There used to be a park here, and, looking at Bing there still is. In any case, I don't believe the footpath goes over the top of the war memorial.

According to http://content.tfl.gov.uk/toilets-map.pdf there is a toilet at this station, but it is not currently mapped on OSM. It would be helpful if any editor who has to wait here could investigate its position and map it, together with a text description eg platform 2 and add access=customers if it's inside the ticket barriers, or access=yes if it's outside.
