There are still 6 gates marked as locked=yes while being on a public footpath, in the query which JassKurn put together above (https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1Nb7). Would you be able to verify the status of those gates too please? They may also be causing routing issues.

What was the source of the data?

I ask because mapping the rocks as rectangular areas seems a bit unnatural, and if I look at Bing imagery, rocks like Sea Wood Scar actually look like a single rock 150m away from the area that you’ve mapped. Am I looking at the right thing?

I think this is a service road, not a track. It’s regularly used for vehicular access to the YHA and the hut, by cars rather than agricultural vehicles.

Hi, I’ve had to revert these changes (as changeset/153666298) as they muddled all the shop nodes up so that the phone numbers and other tagging no longer matched the addresses or shop details.

If you’re going to update shops (which is appreciated), please leave the house numbers and shop node positions unchanged. Consider using a tool like https://streetcomplete.app/ to help you. Thanks.

Why do you keep deleting gates?

This would be better off split into multiple changesets, e.g. one per note, so you can actually document your decision making in the changeset comments.

OSM edits which cover a large geographical area are hard for others to review. See osm.wiki/Changeset#Geographical_size_of_changesets

Heya, just as a quick suggestion, in case you’ve not come across it before: when out surveying shops, you might want to try using https://streetcomplete.app/, it makes it easy to update shop details. Only works on Android, not iPhone, though.
