Here is the National Park Service Map to this area. There is a basketball court at this location among more significant features. There are several other nearby features, historical, etc. The bathrooms noted here do not look like they are in the correct location. There is also parking (in addition to that already noted to the north) underneath the bridge butting up to the rear (west of the) basketball court.

As well, if you follow the map to Jones Point to the trail that is adjacent to the water to the Jones Point Lighthouse (from the baksket ballcourt underneath the bridge ) gowest to water tur south along water to pick up trail) There is a hidden landmark (on the water embankment before the turn west to the lighthouse) that can only be seen during the low tide. The other boundary stones and markers are visible from this trail but this marker is not. Those can be seen on the trail next to the water which possibly should be marked Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia (or what they are today, which I am unclear over water.) See the notation on the URL to the National Park Service Map for Jones's Point, Alexandria, VA

Here is the information (see url) on the hidden marker/landmark from the original survey/marking of the area. It is located east of the lighthouse. The survey marker stone (submerged depending on tide, and carving is eroded) is indicated on this history, It states that marker was completed in 1791 or thereabouts, it appears. L'Enfant (mapped out the District of Columbia) was fired and Benjamin Banneker redrew the maps that L'Enfant had taken with him upon leaving his job. He laid this marker and others indicating the original boundaries. Alexandria, VA was for a time in the District of Columbia, if memory serves, which causes confusion on maps and for clarity of historical landmarks.
