This is not a passable street for pedestrians or bikers. It is an interstate off-ramp.

From this point south to Homedale is an I-10 exit ramp - just the dark yellow section. It is not bike or pedestrian friendly. The same is true of Pontchartrain Blvd. just to its west (also a dark yellow color), reaching to about Country Club Drive.

This intersection is no longer an intersection that is controlled by traffic lights. It is now a roundabout with a small slightly elevated island.
