Hi,

Thanks for your contribution to OSM! You seem to have added two buildings for JK&Sons, if they occupy the whole building here: way/715442769 then you should delete the partial building over top, if they only occupy the left part of the building, then you should remove the tags from the full building, and either make the partial building a node, or change the tag `building=industrial` to `building:part=industrial`, since full buildings cannot be overlapping. Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for your contributions to OSM! Just to double-check, is the name of that cottage actually "The Cottage"? If it's just your name for it, then it should be removed, since the map is for everyone. Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for contributing to the map. I have a few things to note for you as you learn mapping on OSM:
First, be sure to learn what each tag is for. For example, the ref tag is for reference numbers or codes, so a ref of "Fence" isn't correct here node/10665084511. Also double check the historic tag.
Secondly, since this is a map used by everyone, we want to make sure that it's correct. While it might be fun to add, names like "Pit Of Destiny" and "Mount Wood" aren't actually their names, so they shouldn't be named that on the map. Would you mind going through and fixing those things? Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for your contributions, as a note phone numbers must have the international prefix (+1 for US), would you mind fixing this? Thanks! node/10660307773

Hi,

Looks like you accidentally named this pond "green". Would you mind fixing that please? Thanks! way/293487724

Hi,

Looks like you have a marked crossing that you forgot to change certain parts back into a sidewalk here: way/486428133

Thanks for the explanation. With respect, France and the USA have different tagging schemes with boundaries, so I'm going to follow the wiki page and not have the seat role.

Are you still working on this? I noticed the sidewalks got a bit messed up here: osm.org/edit?way=486428136#map=19/43.51992/-84.14009 but i didn't want to step on your toes if you're still working on it.

Are you still working on these routes? I noticed that the stops and roads don't match up here: relation/9750194#map=16/42.9690/-85.6730 but didn't want to step on your toes.

Happens to everyone occasionally, don't worry about it :)

Generally if you're reverting someone's work, you make an attempt to contact them first to discuss why you're reverting it. In the future, please do that.

That being said, this is still inaccurate because according to the wiki page you linked, there is no such role as 'seat' in an admin boundary. Can you explain what the 'seat' role relation is?

Hi,

Can you please double-check way/1143666039? It looks very small to be a garage

132316983 almost 3 years ago

Correct, you aren't supposed to have a node with natural=wood, that is what natural=tree is for.

132316983 almost 3 years ago

Sure, natural=tree and natural=wood. There's also natural=tree_row which might be applicable in some cases

Hi,

If there's a driveway there, you shouldn't delete it, you should change the tags to highway=service and service=driveway. It's bad practice to remove valid data from OSM, because someone else will just re-add it later and you've created more work for them. Could you please add it back? Thanks!

Hi,

When you're mapping individual trees (like way/1141470876, way/1141470879, and way/1141470878), it is incorrect to make them an area with natural=wood, they need to be a node with natural=tree. Would you mind fixing these please? Thanks!

Hi,

On way/1129823003/ way/1140189700 and way/1129826445 you added left and right values for sidewalk/cycleway, but forgot to remove the main one that was already there, so now they are conflicting. Could you please fix that? Thanks!

Hi,

Looking at way/1140379817, there's no established tag natural=River Tower, was that a typo or did you mean that?

132217480 almost 3 years ago

Thanks!

This page explains it in full detail osm.wiki/Bicycle#Cycle_features, but the rule of thumb is if there's no physical separation between the bike lane and the road, then it shouldn't be mapped separately. If there's a verge or barrier between the cycleway and road, then it can be drawn separately. Hope this helps!

Hi,

Roundabouts are not supposed to have names, can you please remove the name of way/1138981061? Thanks!
