Hi there,

Thanks for the edit! Since Lake of the North was already mapped here: way/1225493728/history/1, i've gone ahead and merged your edits into that one

Hi there,

Please see the wiki for runways, there needs to be a line down the center, and the area needs to be area:aeroway=runway aeroway=runway

Could you please fix this? Thanks!

Hi there,

For relation/17951321, please review the wiki page on type=route (osm.wiki/Relation:route), i do not think this qualifies as a route relation

Hi there,

Why did you remove the boundary tag from relation/134953/history?

Hi there,

You created way/1311331164 which overlaps way/1311331155. Can you please move them apart so they aren't overlapping?

Also, the editor warned you of this when you saved it, please pay attention to those warnings in the future, thanks!

Hi there,

Could you explain more about what this is? Thanks

Hi there,

On way/17975526, you added sidewalk:both=separate, but there was a sidewalk=no already tagged. Could you please double check the existence of the sidewalk and remove the sidewalk=no tag if there is a sidewalk? Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for the additions. A couple of questions, could you explain more about what node/12125617750 is supposed to be? Since there's no defining tags, no data consumer can understand it.

Also, for way/1309499473#map=19/44.621754/-85.756065, marked_trail should be the more common trailblazed (trailblazed=*) and also it needs to be tagged on the path itself, not a surrounding area

Hope this helps!

Hi there,

Did you mean to leave node/12138008386 disconnected from node/40448445?

Hi there,

Did you mean to add building=yes to way/1310852880?

Hi there,

I don't think this entire path is a boardwalk, could you please double check it? way/946566705

Hi there,

I've reverted this changeset here: changeset/155746755

There were several errors, including breaking a house, changing a driveway to a stream, and not adding crossing nodes or tunnels where streams crossed roads.

Please follow the editor walkthrough and read the wiki to understand the correct way to map waterways, and please pay attention to the warnings of the editor when you go to save.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Please see service=driveway for how to tag driveways, and please add the correct tags to way/1311070385

Thanks!

Hi there,

It's incorrect to connect the house to the road, could you please disconnect those two objects? Thanks!

It looks like OsmAnd was trying to route you to the middle of the trail. It might be because of this gate node/7616501292 so i added locked=no since it's usually not locked. Also I added a trailhead so that hopefully OsmAnd displays that in the search instead

Hi there,

I reverted this changeset in changeset/155714058 because it broke the Whitmore Lake boundary

Hi there,

Would really appreciate if you went back and did this. Since you deleted the linear ways which already existed, this is technically a form of vandalism (osm.wiki/Vandalism#Vandalism_and_other_types_of_bad_editing) "Purposeful removal or degradation of data that are known to be correct" and should be corrected quickly

Thanks!

Hi there,

I edited these roads a bit, I confirmed with aerials, Strava, and bing streetside that the tracks do still exist, so I reconnected them and tagged them as motor_vehicle=private, as well as added the fence. I'm not sure why OsmAnd routed you to that track, because it's a dead end, but generally speaking it's best to keep roads connected and tag them appropriately than to remove them

*unnecessary to specify them separately

155642837 over 1 year ago

Hi there,

Thanks for the edits! In OSM, kph is the default for speed, so you will need to add "mph" as seen here: maxspeed=*?uselang=en#Values

Also, when a road has the same forward and backward maxspeed, it's unnecessary to specify them, so you can remove those as well

Thanks!
