Hi there,

Why did you add a highway=stop node on an intersection that has a traffic signal? node/11878210357

Hello,

This changeset duplicated dozens of already existing nodes and ways. You can see the full list using Osmose: https://osmose.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/#zoom=7&lat=43.895&lon=-107.273&level=1&country=usa_arizona&loc=11/33.3889/-111.9068&item=1230 each pin is where you duplicated an object. Could you please go through and remove all these duplicates? Thanks!

Apologies, I assumed that because you changed the entire section of the Detroit river to a beach, and drew the McKee beach across a parking lot, that it was vandalism. Feel free to redraw the McKee beach, but please make sure to accurately draw it so that it only covers the beach and not the parking lot. Thanks!

Hi there,

For node/11904676625, you said it's "A public fire place" but you added access=private. was that intentional?

Hi there,

I've removed this beach, it appears to be a mistake since it was mostly over the lake, and i can't find any references to the beach name online. If you can show me the sources you used for the beach name, I will put it back on the map. Thanks!

Hi there,

I've removed this beach as it doesn't fit the requirements of a beach, namely that it is near a mapped body of water. From the aerial imagery, it looks like it may be a lake? but it's hard to tell exactly

Hi there,

Did you mean to remove the section of Kelsey Street between West Street and Rock River?

150833217 over 1 year ago

Hi there,

You removed the highway tag from way/221671993#map=19/41.92699/-85.65077, out of precaution and to avoid breaking map routers i've added it back. Was that an accident or were you trying to change something?

Hi there,

Thanks for doing this, but in the future please double check your work, especially when modifying major roads. You accidentally made clyde park a oneway street from 32nd to 28th, which broke routing.

150665289 over 1 year ago

No, only the ones you created overtop of existing roads

150665289 over 1 year ago

Okay, I removed them all

The correct way to do it is to double click on the place where the surface changes to create a new point on the road, and then select that point and press X. That will split the road into two parts, and then you tag the correct surface on each part.

Hi there,

All of your recent changesets will need to be fixed, you appear to have created new roads on top of existing roads, rather than editing the tags of the original roads. Would you like to take care of that, or do you want me to delete the roads in bulk first and then you can go back through and add the surface tags to the already existing roads?

Hi there,

I reverted this in changeset/150629367#map=16/42.7280/-84.5494, you deleted the highway tag, which broke routing, and you also moved this tree https://pewu.github.io/osm-history/#/node/5756855609 a long way away, which looked accidental. I'm not exactly sure what you were trying to do, but removing highway tags is almost never the correct thing to do, so please be careful next time, thanks!

Probably, as far as i know tesla uses several different sources. They do use the Valhalla routing engine for some stuff, when i tested that, it also correctly routes to the driveway (https://valhalla.openstreetmap.de/directions?profile=pedestrian&wps=-83.97017955780031%2C42.55244801301115%2C-83.89235258102418%2C42.51246727052624, the car profile also works but you need to disable the "exclude unpaved roads" setting first), so they are probably using something else.

Hi there,

What application are you using for directions? I just tested with OsmAnd and Organic Maps and they route to the driveway correctly

Hi there,

Regarding this and your last changeset, are there actually separate places called "Downtown Dearborn" and "Downtown Plymouth"? the city/township boundaries are already mapped: Dearborn (relation/134579), plymouth (relation/135061) and plymouth charter township (relation/135257), so i don't think your additions can be tagged as cities. If you could explain a bit more about what these are, we can try to figure out if/how they should be tagged
