Thanks for adding these! One thing to note is that JOSM doesn't automatically connect intersecting ways, so there's a lot of trails that don't actually connect to each other now. Each pin is a place where two trails or a trail and a road cross over each other but don't share a node. Could you go back and make sure that all the trails are properly connected? Thanks!

Could you explain further? For example, looking around here: node/74688526#map=19/46.24174/-104.03729 i don't see any evidence with aerial imagery or topo maps of the way going through a body of water
