over 2 years ago | Hi, Please use the human wikipedia link when adding them (wikipedia=*?uselang=en#Using_Wikipedia_links:~:text=Use%20the%20human%20readable%20title%20of%20the%20article) Thanks!
over 2 years ago | So one of the overarching principles of the highway guidelines (osm.wiki/United_States/2021_Highway_Classification_Guidance#Classification) is that, in general, connectivity should be maintained between roads with the same level, and the level is determined by the connectivity between population centers, not necessarily the amount of traffic. Since M-72 and M-22 both connect population centers, I think it's equally valid to make Grandview a secondary, or to make M-72/M-22 primary roads.
over 2 years ago | Are you sure these roads are not drivable at all? Looks like a lot of residential roads now have no access
over 2 years ago | Hi, Could you explain a bit about why you changed this to primary? I'm not saying it's wrong, but looking at it, it doesn't seem like a primary because of the spur at the end
over 2 years ago | Hi, On way/1197744499 you have oneway=yes, but you also have lanes:forward and lanes:backward. Could you please go back and fix that? Thanks!
over 2 years ago | Hi, Looks like you connected the traffic signals to the boundary ways instead of the road ways here node/4033274115 Could you fix that please? Thanks!
over 2 years ago | Hi, Street names must not be abbreviated in OSM, could you please fix way/8706126? Thanks!
over 2 years ago | Hey, I'm not sure what this tag is supposed to be, but i don't think it's right node/11099785430
over 2 years ago | Hi, On way/10140719/history you seem to have added "building=S". Could you please fix that? Thanks!
over 2 years ago | Hi, Looks like you used the ele tag when you meant to use the height tag, on things like node/11099410145 ele is height above sea level, height is for height off the ground
over 2 years ago | Okay, so the correct tag for that should be access=private, not access=no. access=no is saying nothing is allowed to use it
over 2 years ago | Hi, Are you sure you meant to make all of these roads access=no? These look like roads to public buildings, right?
over 2 years ago | Hi, Were you trying to create one relation that holds all the fence sections around the park?
over 2 years ago | Hi, Why did you change the relation to be a type=multipolygon instead of a type=boundary?
over 2 years ago | Hi, On way/701589451/history you changed "lanes" from 4 to 3. Did you mean to do this?
over 2 years ago | reverted in changeset/139442151
over 2 years ago | Hi, I'm going to revert this changeset under the "Purposeful removal or degradation of data that are known to be correct" listed here: osm.wiki/Vandalism#Vandalism_and_other_types_of_bad_editing First off, if you're unsure about how landuses work, it's best to ask in a community osm.wiki/Contact_channels#Realtime_chats first so others can teach you. That being said, "haphazard and incomplete" is not a valid reason to remove them, it means that someone just needs to fix them. If you feel it "adds a lot of noise to the map layers", then turn the landuse layer off in the editor so it doesn't bother you. Landuse should never be glued to highways and paths, because it's not related to them. It should only be glued to other landuses.
over 2 years ago | Hi, On way/1192776746, "steep" is not a valid value for the incline tag. Do you know if the way is going uphill or downhill?
| 139353063 | over 2 years ago | Hi, For way/1194034426
Were you trying to mark these as under construction? If so, you need to use highway=construction (highway=construction) |
over 2 years ago | Hi, Are you sure motor vehicles are allowed on way/1194039637?
