Francis Road Bikeway was renamed to Francis Road Trail during reconstruction in late 2019, which also altered its alignment slightly. Re-wiggled some points to match sat imagery and placed new benches/trash/bollards.

There's nothing really stopping someone from using this footpath between municipal sidewalks and mall parking lot. It's used by the public to walk to the mall, and such access appears intented. Matching access=permissive tag on the parking aisles.
