This road is closed when the Riverford Farm is shut. Gate right at the junction with A1 southbound. Buildings on the other side are accessible from the Sacrewell A47 turnoff.

The Environment Agency had a barrier fence and a guard here on Saturday 16th June 2018. The footpath is closed while work is being done. ( How long??) We had to detour back to Orton so we could continue our walk to Wansford Station Car Park increasing our walk of ten miles to Thirteen very poor communication by the Environment Agency and Peterborough County Council Highways rights of way, We saw no prior warnings on any local footpaths.

Clearly something's gone wrong here. The footpath to the northeast probably duplicates the service road. The footpath to the northwest also looks iffy - it's based on one trace and doesn't seem to match Bing imagery (though either could be out of date of course). Needs on-the-ground survey to resolve.
