over 10 years ago | Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for adding this data! Based on your user name, it looks like you're adding this information on behalf of a client, is that right? In OSM, we have a number of conventions for how data is entered. Keeping things consistent makes the data searchable and makes it so people can build applications that use the data usefully. One important convention is that things are given a tag that describes what they are. For example, a shoe store would be given the tag shop=shoes (shop=shoes), or a restaurant would be given the tag amenity=restaurant (amenity=restaurant). Doing this lets people do searches like "what are the restaurants in my area?". For Casella, it looks like an appropriate tag might be amenity=waste_transfer_station (amenity=waste_transfer_station). However, if these (or some of these) aren't waste transfer stations but just offices, the tag office=company might be appropriate. Another important thing is to use the same tag as other people use for a given type of data. Here, you've set "Main Phone=207-561-6289", but the convention in OSM is to use "phone=207-561-6289". Using the same tag as everyone else makes the phone number usable in applications--for example, my phone's GPS would let me call the store directly. Another case where using the same convention as everyone else would help is for hours. If you follow the convention set at opening_hours=*, software (again, including GPS) will be able to let someone know if a place is currently open. Similarly, there's a convention for setting addresses on things, which can be seen at addr=*. A very important one: everything in OSM uses the tag "name" to set something's name. That's all lowercase! Using the uppercase "Name" means it won't be searchable! If you have any questions there are a whole bunch of ways to get help. osm.wiki/How_to_contribute lists a lot of them. Hope this helps!
over 10 years ago | Reverted in changeset/33472229. You've made some of these changes before, for example in changeset/32940036. They don't match reality. For example, for the parking lot on Trinity Campus at UVM, every available aerial imagery I can find shows what is currently mapped in OSM, and I personally verified that it's correct a few months ago, but you've tried to change it several times. Why are you trying to put this incorrect data in?

over 10 years ago | Hi, I'm a little confused by this change. Is there an actual path (i.e. something you can walk on) here, that's named "SATEC SRTS MAP"? Or if not, what's being added to the map here and what's actually on the ground in these locations?
over 10 years ago | Looks like it was already fixed in https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=32665804
over 10 years ago | Reverted in changeset/32954650. Quarry Hill road does not have a loop there in any imagery I can find. Why do you think it has that loop? Please use changeset comments, source tags, or really ANY way of giving reasoning for your edits. Also, this change removed the name from part of Quarry Hill Road.
over 10 years ago | Reverted in changeset/32954519. Please stop changing roads into residential. These aren't residential roads. You've done this in a lot of your changes in different areas and it's not okay.
over 10 years ago | These nodes seem to have been part of a broken upload or something. After using a whole bunch of them for tracing buildings that were presumably their originally intended purpose, I realized that it's more work to do it that way than just create new nodes.
over 10 years ago | Hi, I reverted this change because it removed other data about the area (that it's named Taft's Corners) when it added yours. When adding your store to the map, you should make sure it's a completely new object being added. When doing that, you can also make sure it's positioned correctly. Also, your website says you're located in New Jersey. Is this a new location?
over 10 years ago | I reverted this changeset in changeset/32817100 . Reasoning is discussed there.
over 10 years ago | Spear Street is definitely tertiary, and the geometry changes at Quarry Hill road match neither the (best available) VCGI imagery nor Bing imagery. The mistagged geometry additions near the Sheraton weren't really worth making the revert more difficult to try to save.
over 10 years ago | I'm local to this area and have never heard these names used. Additionally, I could find no references to them online. I asked in changeset/32629120 for any more information about them, but got no reply.
over 10 years ago | Hi, Where does this name come from? I've never heard it and I'm very local to the area. I also can't find any references to it online.
over 10 years ago | Looks like this accidentally put a zigzag in Route 30
over 10 years ago | This edit changed the tag "heigt" to "heigth"
over 10 years ago | Since there was no reply, I reverted this in changeset/31775218.
over 10 years ago | This updates changeset/31324155 to use the official parcel information, as the rest of the CC boundary does. This was not a new acquisition by the college, so it must have been missed in the original boundary work. While making this change, I noticed that the college recently acquired the house next door, 436 Maple. However, I also saw a statement that they planned to continue its use as a single-family home, so I'm leaving it out of the campus outline.
over 10 years ago | Oops, the changeset here clearly should have been Pearl Street, not Pine
over 10 years ago | I don't know anything about railways, so it's possible things are wrong here. In particular, I'm not sure the track tagged as the main route is correct (but the old one managed to start at one track and end at another with no valid path between them...)
over 10 years ago | Are you sure there's a park there? Satellite photos don't show any indication of one, just some green space with no amenities or means of access except through someone's yard.
