Huh? The flickr blog (here http://code.flickr.com/blog/2009/09/28/thats-maybe-a-bit-too-dorky-even-for-us/) itself says:
That means you can subscribe to a feed of all the (public) photos tagged with osm:way= or osm.wiki/Tag:osm:node=...

Openlayers should do that, here are some examples:

Your Blog/OtherPlace might already have contributed plugins to display osm maps, too.

Optimizing Ways should not touch the route calculation time, if it does it's a bug ;)
(It might reduce the time to prepare the data for the routing engine, though)
