  3. When cycling montecito, this uncontrolled crossing stands out, even though colon is itself a minor street with little traffic.

  4. Remove Crosstown bike trail, per wiki guidance: route definers should have control of bicycle infrastructure, the independent crosstown trail group does not. https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/United_States/Bicycle_Networks

  5. The side path on the right is used bidirectionally. No sharrows or markings on the often one-lane 35mph road going downhill. I did it recently based on OSM, that was a bit nerve-wracking, I realize this categorization can present real danger.

  6. tag a few segments at this complicated intersection as bicycle: yes. This is to help routers in dealing with the sidewalk-prescribed route on O'Shaughnessy, by making sure tagged ways connect. https://www.sfmta.com/media/27264/download?inline

  7. added a stretch of sidewalk that is prescribed to be ridden on via bicycle by SFMTA's "recommended bike routes" map https://www.sfmta.com/media/27264/download?inline. There is no signage, or I would classify as "designated"

  8. Visible from the air, but also I checked it out: this is a weird, narrow bidirectional cycle lane on one side.

  9. I was reviewing the SFMTA "recommended" cycle routes, which editorializes on all government designated cycle routes. In particular, this recommends Havelock and the bridge https://www.sfmta.com/media/27264/download?inline

  11. Update some sidewalks to designated for bicycles. I noticed a router making very bad decisions here, when needing to head southeast from the bridge. See https://godcgo.com/wp-content/uploads/DC-Bike-Map.pdf, both the overview and inset 6.
