I believe that Akilia Island is actually the larger one to the N and W. I'm basing this on, for example, this paper: http://www2.ess.ucla.edu/~manning/pdfs/mmh06.pdf (see p. 305 and others). I suspect that the confusion arose from a low-precision location in Wikipedia.

Is the reservoir itself (not just the dam structure) really called Capanda Dam?
