Hi there, been here recently and noticed your fixmes on Tyndall Street.

No physical separation (other than the islands) - as to whether it's a dual carriageway, no clue unfortunately.

Hi Adamos, only now seeing this so sorry for delay in response

Thanks for letting me know - will fix! There were previously public_transport=stop_positions mapped here with public_transport=platforms separate as you mentioned some months ago but for some reason things were removed/changed.

Diolch

Haia D R Syfydrin,

Byddai'n syniad da os ydych chi'n sôn am yr hyn rydych chi wedi newid yn eich sylwadau grŵp newid, yn lle dim ond rhoi "Local Knowledge". Bydd hyn yn helpu defnyddwyr eraill i ddeall yr hyn rydych chi wedi bod yn ei wneud!

Hi D R Syfydrin,

It would be a good idea if you mentioned what you've changed in your changeset comment, instead of only putting "Local Knowledge". This will help out other users and let them know what you've been working on!

Helo Pibby59 a chroeso i OpenStreetMap!

I just want to let you know that you can press Q on your keyboard (or Right-Click and Square) to square up the corners of buildings. I also notice that you've traced the roof as it appears on the imagery - you should only trace the footprint of the building.

Cofion gorau and happy mapping,

Hi eajones, welcome to OSM!

I noticed on the elements you're adding, you're using quite a lot of unnecessary nodes.

This can make things a bit tough to edit later on - so in the future, consider using less nodes (like on the right side of the fairway) - less is more!

Happy mapping

Hi Bernard

Thanks for pointing it out! Will try and rectify when I can - not sure how that happened in Relatify though.

You should NEVER specify locations relating to yourself or other people you know for yours (and others) personal safety.
A better changeset comment would be something like "Adding house address" without specifying it belongs to someone.

Hi there beza208,

You've got this natural=tree_row way:
way/1311996189#map=19/52.266599/-3.967009

crossing over a couple of roads and tracks when that is not the case on the imagery

Cheers,
Ceirios

P'nawn da Gwennie, diolch am gyfrannu i OSM.

Dylech chi ddefnyddio'r meysydd Cyfeiriad yn lle'r maes Enw i lenwi manylion fel rhif y tŷ ac enw'r stryd, achos bod y meysydd Cyfeiriad yn fwy priodol.

Rydych chi hefyd wedi rhoi tagiau ar nod cornel y tŷ drws nesa, a dylech chi eu symud i'r ardal.

Diolch,
Ceirios

Hi Gwennie, thanks for contributing to OSM.

You should use the Address fields to tag details such as the house number and street, as these fields are a better place for address information than the Name field.

You've also tagged a node on the corner of the house next door and you should move these to the main house area.

Thanks,
Ceirios

I'd also like to question why "iaith" (language) is a hashtag here, too.

You're adding these roads and buildings but not adding any name:cy tags.

No worries, happy mapping!

You can click the “i” on the side of the options to see a quick description of what it’s for. It’ll also take you to the OpenStreetMap Wiki too, which goes into a lot more detail.

Hi there and welcome to OSM

You've mapped this as amenity=parking_space, which is meant for individual parking spaces and not the whole car park (amenity=parking)

Hi there,

Could you please write more descriptive changeset comments? It's quite hard for other mappers to see at a glance what you've been working on.

This Wiki page might be able to help:

Hi there and welcome to OSM!

Temporary features (such as the Eisteddfod Maes) should not be mapped because data consumers that pull OSM data may use it for weeks or months before updating.

osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don't_map_temporary_events_and_temporary_features

You CAN however, add it to OpenHistoricalMap, where mapping is also done by time!

Happy mapping :)

I've restored the place=island tag now - be careful in future since you turned the whole island into a beach which I don't think you intended to do. :)

153407077 over 1 year ago

Hi PMPKim,

You added a wiki link but in doing so you also turned the relation into a beach. Was this intentional?

Hi gomedia91

Please don't tag trees as natural=wood ways and instead use natural=tree.

You can use additional fields on natural=tree for the size and height.

Hi again - you requested a review.
Looks good to me!

It will take longer for services that use OSM to apply the change

Hi BEANS_SUCK, welcome to OSM!

Could you please write more descriptive changeset comments? Writing just "aaaaaaaaaa" or "s" isn't clear to other mappers what you've been doing.
