about 7 years ago | Hey Jackson Olmsted - I appreciate all the work that you've done on the highways around Atlanta! However you've caused some issue which can cause problems for routing applications, and that's that HOV lanes should be mapped with lane tags, and not as a separate highway. I'm going to need to revert your work, sorry! If you have any questions please reach out on private message, or join our Slack channel here: https://slack.openstreetmap.us/ Thanks again and happy mapping!
about 7 years ago | Hey 420blazer, welcome to OpenStreetMap and thank you for your edits. Is there really a bar here called "Roofie House"? Bing streetview imagery doesn't show anything that looks like a bar. If it's not really a bar please remove it, thanks!
about 7 years ago | Ah thanks for clarification. I do wish we could find a way for Tubes to make more productive contributions. As for the @stevea thing, sorry! I thought OSM changeset discussions supported mentioning people like that.
about 7 years ago | @stevea Please be nice.. everything in OSM is trivially fixable.
about 7 years ago | Thanks for adding this building! Just a few things: 1. Please don't connect them directly to the road, you can zoom in to make sure they are spaced apart from the road a bit 2. People in OSM definitely prefer when the buildings are drawn with nice square corners, so try typing āSā to make the buildings look a little better. Also, I recommend you complete the iD walkthrough for more editing best practices. Happy Mapping! :)

But numbered seating sections just as public as things like numbered parking lots or numbered train platforms? e.g. even if they take this information from the stadium's website, it seems ok for inclusion in OSM. |
over 7 years ago | jmapb, please leave me alone. If you need help adding a crosswalk to fix that routing issue, ask on help.openstreetmap.org
over 7 years ago | ok fine luschi, you fix it then. š
over 7 years ago | Yes, I'm aware of the wiki page. Again, the primary usecase for this style of mapping is for wheelchair users who can not cross the street mid-block. It does not impede routing for other users (I'm not sure why some people think this).
over 7 years ago | It would be great if, rather than removing the sidewalks, you would just connect them to the road where crossings exist. It's not a matter of "personal preference" - there are groups working on wheelchair routing that need to map attributes on the sidewalk ways (like smoothness and obstacles) which would be too cumbersome to add as attributes on the vehicular road. Thanks!
over 7 years ago | I'm the iD developer. What's your question?
over 7 years ago | Thanks for your contribution and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Awesome username, too! :)
over 7 years ago | It's totally ok to add lanes tags to laneless streets.
over 7 years ago | I've reverted this change in changeset/60288925 - TEG24601, please do not delete other people's data because you think it makes the map "cluttered".
over 7 years ago | Welcome to OpenStreetMap - thanks for adding your business address, I tagged it as a sporting goods store.
