As of right now, the east/west path has not been cut through the field.

There is a gate here, with no stile or gap for pedestrians, which renders the foothpath to the southeast "unnavigable" I'd say.

Bulls are kept in this field and depending on where they are situated, even though signs are posted, I wouldn't recommend going through there.

I had the misfortune to be stopped along here by what appeared to be some kind of farm worker in a car. He said "no cycling down here" and I pointed out this stretch was a bridleway. He said it wasn't. My source is the Essex Council website, which states this us:

central asset id: PROW 39_12
parish: Manuden
path number: 12
classification: Bridleway
length: 1637
unit: metres
district: Uttlesford
parish code: PROW 39

Totally overgrown, as of my passage through here right now.

It is currently not possible to use the footpath to cross the new bypass, it's all fenced off.

The footpath heading northwest is closed from this point.

I approached the bypass from the foothpath to the west today, heading south and there is no way across. There is a sign stating that people on foot should follow the hedgerow to the northeast.

The footpath to the east of here is shut, due to the bypass.

This footpath through the wood is completely inaccessible, the undergrowth is too high and thick.
