over 3 years ago | Hi, another instance of "stile=g" which needs addressing, because that is not a documented tag. Could you run an overpass-turbo yourself, so I don't have to contact you for the remaining 6 instances, pls.
over 3 years ago | Here's another "stile=g" that needs addressing.
over 3 years ago | Hi, if you added "stile=g", would you mind specifying what type of stile it is actually? I know it's a long time ago, but maybe you remember. If not, please remove "stile=g", as it is not documented.
over 3 years ago | I'll have to retag it again as stile=steps, unfortunately, along with a lot of others. I had gone by the wiki which only showed three types. I've added two commonly used ones to the wiki now which make sense to me (i.e. stile=wall and stile=fence are used commonly, but don't make sense to me). And I'll have to re-record the video I recorded and uploaded yesterday. Ugh.
over 3 years ago | I've fixed it; there are two doors, so I split the building into no. 8 and nohousenumber.
over 3 years ago | True enough. They're not showing on OSMAnd, hence the duplicate addition. I'll know in the future not to add life rings in OSMAnd. Pity that.
over 3 years ago | Yeah, there is no real post office any longer, it used to be here (osm.org/#map=19/52.91454/-7.34822), but they're all smaller "An Post points" in other retail spaces, but with extra opening hours, not the same as the supermarkets. Just no sign of the opening hours sometimes.
over 3 years ago | Sorry, it probably happened, because I was working with the tiles on the task manager.
over 3 years ago | Thanks for pointing that out.
over 3 years ago | I don't know.
over 3 years ago | Yes, that is a very strange mistake indeed.i haven't a ue how that could have happened.
over 3 years ago | Alright, the sign with the reference numbers says ESB, so I thought I was recording ground truth. I'll leave out the operator in future.
almost 4 years ago | If there is a way to export the 1911 (D)EDs to openhistoricalmaps, pls let me know, so we can save that work somehow, before deleting it from OSM. Anyway, thanks for taking on that huge tidying task.
| 117922060 | almost 4 years ago | I had added the EDs in NI and some parts of the Republic for the Sensible Code company last year, but if I recall, we had long discussions in the Telegram group and I had put a date on all those boundaries to mark them as not current. Therefore, I wasn't sure how there could be duplicates. There were even changes between 1901 and 1911, but I think we settled on me using 1911 then, bc Sensible Code wanted to use it for their software for the 1911 census. The launch is available to watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCKcBRix-bg.

almost 4 years ago | I've sent them a direct message via OSM. Lets wait for another week and then revert. Anne
almost 4 years ago | oops, sorry, typo in JOSM
almost 4 years ago | It was, thanks for pointing it out
almost 4 years ago | Thanks, I think i fixed them all
almost 4 years ago | Yes, Castlecomer Discovery Park.
almost 4 years ago | I don't know anything about the courtyard - I haven't had the "pleasure" to be in court yet. I would presume that some of the foundations are part of the historic=castle, but I don't know how much of it. I was in the ground floor recently, which contains historic jail cells and artifacts, but it's not accessible to the public and basically unused.
