| 1455821 | This road is mapped by the city of Springfield, Oregon as Dorris Street, not just to the east of the junction with S. 2nd, but also to the west.. Traveling south on south second, you can turn left OR right and still be on Dorris street. It makes a "T" with South Second. The City of Springfield changed it officially (and our mailing address was changed to read Dorris Street too). However, the sign at the intersection with South Second was not changed.so it still says Dorris goes east and Harbor goes west, but apparently that is in error. We've reported it! it is an issue with people trying to make deliveries. We had to call 911 and they were showing a different location than our mailing address in their data base. So there is basic mis-communication between our basic mapping systems. , but the mail is officially delivered to Dorris Street on this stretch west of the intersection. |
