| 55969888 | almost 8 years ago | I think the only way to do it on iD would be to manually copy all of the tags over (in the "All Tags" pulldown of the sidebar). However, once you're comfortable with editing with OSM, you can move up into the more advanced editing software JOSM, which allows you to copy and paste tags using Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+Shift+V. Definitely try out JOSM once you're comfortable with iD, it has a steep learning curve but its makes editing so much easier. |

Even though these were added by purpose-built hit-and-run throwaway accounts specifically for adding their businesses on the map, they still added map data without having annoying descriptions. What was there is on the ground, anyways, but we're left now with just a bunch of addresses. |

There's only one thing you did this with (node/5379691285), so it's not a big deal. 2. A small nit-picky thing: Try and edit small areas while editing. It's hard for other people (like me) to review changesets when they span a geographically large area. Separating the changesets (pressing "Save" once you move to another area, like California to Lithuania) also makes it easier to revert if you've done something wrong. |
