Hello, place tags need to have name. a village can be a node or a way. Since you decided to keep it as a node, you can delete the place tag from the way and keep it as residential area. As there are two residential areas separated by non residential area, you may like to add multiple residential land use areas. Also Thotamula residental area is overlapping with Gampalagudem area. JSON is better for editing than iD as it gives additional warnings and has additional facilities for editing. As you seem to have lot of interest in Wikipedia and OSM, like me, you may like to start using JOSM at the earliest.
