| 143559931 | about 2 years ago | I originally split some of these islands into dual carriageways as other traffic islands on Foster that were there before the road diet (ie Foster/Cora) were already mapped as dual carriageways. Also, at least to me, it didn't really make sense to have the crossing node in the middle of the refuge island. As Minh mentioned, mapping refuge islands as dual carriageways is common practice: for example Grand River Ave in Detroit (osm.org/#map=19/42.40571/-83.23111) and Chaparral Rd in Scottsdale (osm.org/#map=19/33.50966/-111.91284). If you feel strongly about this, I encourage you to discuss this with other mappers on either the forum or Slack to form a consensus on whether these should or shouldn't be mapped as dual carriageways. I want to make sure these are mapped consistently. |
| 141181794 | about 2 years ago | Hi,
Happy Mapping! |
| 143181358 | about 2 years ago | Hi and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for mapping features at The Living Desert. Please note that animal enclosures have their own feature type and should not be tagged as parks or commercial areas. Also, buildings in OSM should only cover its footprint (ie way/47512765). |
| 143026893 | about 2 years ago | Hi and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for fixing this road name. However, please note that we don't abbreviate road names in OSM (see osm.wiki/abbreviation). In this case, this road name should be unabbreviated to 'Meadow Lark Drive'. Happy Mapping! |
| 142652857 | about 2 years ago | It appears that you've accidently changed Dumpling Depot to a viewpoint. I've gone ahead and reverted this change in changeset/142676206 |
| 142459642 | about 2 years ago | Hi and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for mapping these benches and picnic tables. However, please note that walking route relations should only include the paths themselves and not adjacent features such as the benches/picnic tables you added. Would you be able to remove these from the route relations you modified in this changeset? Thanks and happy mapping! |
| 139715311 | about 2 years ago | Hi,
In the future, I'd highly recommend using building footprints from RLIS:
|
| 134706023 | about 2 years ago | No worries, I've gone ahead and changed the name back in changeset/142244992 |
| 134706023 | about 2 years ago | Hi there,
|
| 142121588 | about 2 years ago | I've gone ahead and moved the trees back and removed a path that for sure doesn't exist anymore in changeset/142213878 |
| 142121588 | about 2 years ago | Hi there, Please note that Esri Clarity is quite outdated in this area (~2014). This changeset seems to remove some trees and other features I added a week ago and added trees and paths that no longer exist. In the future, I'd use Bing imagery which appears to have been captured January/February of this year

|
| 141049982 | over 2 years ago | Issues from this changeset should be resolved in changeset/141098047 |
| 141049982 | over 2 years ago | Hi,
|
| 140779246 | over 2 years ago | Hi, Thanks for removing these old buildings! Just a quick tip: you can switch backgrounds in the editor by opening the Background Settings menu on the right hand side. The option named 'National Agriculture Imagery Program' includes more recent imagery and seems to show the new building. Happy Mapping! |
| 140642313 | over 2 years ago | Hi, Are you sure no cars are allowed to access this road? It seems that at the very least residents at 3406/3310 need to use this road to get to their driveway |
| 131942020 | over 2 years ago | Hi,
For example, "ARUNDEL WAY" should be named "Arundel Way" in OpenStreetMap. |
| 140029013 | over 2 years ago | Hi there, It looks like you added the outline of these parking spaces as a parking aisle:
Please note, however, that parking aisles are used for roads that pass through two rows of parking spaces (see service=parking_aisle) In this case, way/1199262048 could be considered to be a parking aisle. |

| 140154727 | over 2 years ago | Hi, thanks for pointing this out. How do you suggest mapping this building? |
