about 6 years ago | Aren't cyclists allowed to cross here (way/740748987)? Then tagging is ok. Otherwise routing will not work for bicycle. As far as I know this tagging is for crossing of opposite sidewalks; not for cycleways.
about 6 years ago | I don't grasp the last sentence. Is it: things you edit may not be touched afterwards by others?
about 6 years ago | You have reverted - without prior discussion - my changeset. This is not the propper way we are doing things on osm! You put your viewpoint forward for discussion first. You have commented the reversel "The forests don't cover the streets -> revert". It is - you as a newbie with under 200 edits maybe don't know this yet - common practise to cover highways with forest-areas, yes even forest-multipoligon-areas. Would you please comment on those examples; will you delete or reverse these edits as well? relation/2109095#map=13/59.9167/-131.6687 relation/8455001#map=13/49.8614/-120.9383 relation/1618116#map=15/48.9162/13.4951 relation/2178114#map=19/52.51522/13.36995 relation/156748#map=17/52.48255/13.48804 relation/13666#map=17/52.59469/13.16292 As we are talking of unwarranted reversels I will again (as I did in the comment) point out that you in changeset changeset/76411741#map=12/65.7418/24.4497 deleted a lot of islands/ilets (https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=76411741). You have still not reverted your faulty changeset. You may not be aware that coastlines (like those around islands/islets) are not immedeatly updated. So even if the islands are still on osm-carto, the are indeed deleted by yourself. So, as a beginner on osm you ar quite busy vandalising osm. And you are not at all eager to rectify your changeset-errors (deletions). If this conntinous I will most certainly report this. I have reverted your reversal of my changeset. /archie
about 6 years ago | Why? For what reason?
about 6 years ago | Yes, they are gone! You know how to revert?
about 6 years ago | I think - please forgive me if I am wrong - you just deleted a lot of islets (https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=76411741).
about 6 years ago | Das habe ich mir schon gedacht. Mach's gut! /archie
about 6 years ago | Welche "corrections" wolltes du durch diesen Revert, den du nicht als solchen gekennzeichnet hasst, erreichen?
about 6 years ago | Hej, jag har tagit mig friheten att göra om travträningsbanan från bridleway. Hoppas att du inte misstycker. Jag tror "trafiken" på bridleway normalt håller betydligt lägre hastighet än "track och horse_racing".
about 6 years ago | You must be aware that we are not primarily drawing a map as seen on osm.org. We are (in our sparetime) gathering information about geografical items which are stored in a database. This databaseinformation can than be used to make maps or for other purposes. This is the core of osm; database-feeding. The databaseinformation can be used for routing-purposes; eg Garmin. It is therefore important that foot-/bicycleways are tagged right. I have noticed that you retag almost every way bicycle-/footway (wheather it is path och footway or cycleway) into bicycle=designated+foot=designated+highway=cycleway. Well some days ago you tagged highway=footway insted (as ferosiously as you now tag "cycleway"), but changed to cycleway. I commented this and sent you the relevant weblink. It is not the purpose that all foot-/bicycleways are blue on the map but that the ways are tagged right so to facilitate routing. You wan't listen to that and I find it frustrating that you don't grasp this. Furthermore you are doing tit-for-tat-editing. When I change ways, you will change back without relevant comment. That is not a good idea for a community-project like osm. +++ So, remember it's database-gathering, not mapdrawing what this is all about.
about 6 years ago | Well I do not contest that this is a park. But you yourself are talking of "lummig skog" in your comment. This is tagged as leisure=park with landcover landuse=forest. This is'nt a case of tagging for the renderer? You did this earlier on at Vallarnas Fritidspark as well and on other places in the north; allwas parks. + + + Now that you are talking; what about the other questions about your deletion of buildings, breaking of multipolygons, moving of rocks at sea and mapping fancy breakwater-barriers. Will you please answer, thank you. Why are you changing correct tagging into wrong tagging for combined foot-/cycleways? And this in grand style, without considering routing problems you create. Well give us an answer.
about 6 years ago | You retagged this (way/725142657/history), before your retagging highway=path. You changed this (way/609313516/history) to highway=footway. How should cyclists behave when they come to the now footway (where cycling is not allowed)? I think you are changeing a great deal of ways without thinking through questions of routing beforehand.
about 6 years ago | Wrong addressee
about 6 years ago | Well, this is - I take your word for it - a park-area. It is though forest-cladd. So landuse=forest. I advise you to read: osm.wiki/Landcover

about 6 years ago | You just broke mp (relation/10215199/history). What is the reason for this?
about 6 years ago | You changed the position of a rock (node/4350785418) and created a breakwater barrier (way/740016636). Where is your source for this? I do regularily follow the swedish notice for mariners (Ufs) and have no recollection of this. In counterchecking with swedish ortofoto from Lantmäteriet (the latest availible) I could not spot this breakwater-barrier. It is no trivial thing to move under water hinder or mapping breakwater-barrier. So where are your scource for those mappings?
about 6 years ago | This (way/738917716) correctly tagged as highway=path. Why do you change correct an valid tags?
about 6 years ago | You have now put the second layer of "lines" (natural=coastline) upon an existing one (which by the way is included in the relation of coastlines for Halland). So there are now three (3) layers of "lines" upon another. You commented this changeset - as all others - with "Changes to areas and lines not corresponding to underlying map." In which way does "underlying map" (is this possiblly satellite images?) show that there should be three layers of "lines". You would be well adviced to give an answer to this question. Keep in mind, that other active members - all over the world - can read this comment and your answer or absence of answer.
about 6 years ago | Yes, I just noticed the GraphHopper times. OSRM is good in this. OSRM foot 3:40. I know the localities in Frederikshavn and Göteborg; at a speedy walk you could make it in 3:40. Ah, I think I understand; OSRMs servers are "updated" at certain times? Still OSRM routing for vehicle still not working.
