Changeset When Comment
70974505 over 6 years ago

Hello,
if you name a changeset like "Name(s) in Macedonian" you should only include things from Macedonia but nowhere else.
Second: Please give your changes a meaningful comment. Each time the same comment has no added value.
Please see this Wiki article: osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

Hello Marc Konjuhi,
if you name a changeset as "Updates in Kosovo" you should commit changes in Kosovo only. If you do changes in Düsseldorf too, you should commit them separately.
Please keep an eye on it in the future. Thank you.

Hello pkoby,
thank you for fixing osmose errors. Just one thing: Please do the fixes more regional. In this case you have done changes around the world and this makes things unclear if the changes bounding box includes half of the world. You should not include more than one country in a changeset. If you're unsure, there is a function in JOSM that allows you to upload the current selection only instead of all changes.

please provide a short comment in your changes that other people have an idea what you have changed.
Please see this explanation in the Wiki: osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments
Thank you very much.

Hello,
it would be nice if you could split your changesets into smaller regional changes. One change should not exceed one country. In this case it ranges over three continents and one ocean. Please remember that in the future. Thank you very much.

Hallo,

Hello whalerich, if you changeset is covering such a large area it is seen in the local history of many users, although there is no change in the area of the user.
What I'm saying is it's just a bad style to make changes all over the world and then upload them as a single change. This is all the more true when these changes have no direct relation to each other.
A set of changes should cover a maximum of one country but not a number of continents.

Hello chexum, if you write "Details/buildings around Long Ashton" as your change comment, you only should upload changes in Britain. In this case you have a changeset bounding box over half middle Europe. People from e.g. Austria shouldn't see it in their local history. Please have this in mind.
Thank you

Thanks SomeoneElse, that's exactly what I wanted to say with my initial comment.

Hello torapa,
it would be nice if, in the future, you were to do without change sets that span several continents. You could save you changes into smaller groups that have a regional connection. That would be polite against other OSM mappers that look into the history for changes in their region.
Best regards, aquarix

Hallo Rogehm, beim Node "node/6445140768" ist scheinbar was schief gelaufen.

Hello Lukas Weigl,
please include at maximum one country per changeset upload. In this case the changeset spans across two continents. That's impolite against other OSM users that are in between but have no regional connection to it. The other thing is: It's misleading if you have objects of Germany in your changeset and name it with "China".
Please have that in mind. Thanks.

Hello Üna Chueh, welcome to OSM. I would like to ask you to divide your changesets into smaller pieces in the future to group it at maximum one country per changeset. This would be nice. This should be done especially if the individual objects don't have a special relation to each other.
This changeset here touches 4 out of 7 continents and notifies many people that are actually not affected.
