Actually some discussion hv been conducted before that. But IMHO variety is more suitable as it labelled as “Pasar Mini” not “Kedai Serbaneka” (Convenience store).. Pasar Mini is more to variety store.

When you draw a polygon of a non-building area, please remove the building=yes tag.

The latest tag should be variety store, iD one is not latest, you can click on Overpass Turbo to figure out thos who tagged incorrectly in red colour, so please fix your edit, tq.
