This is becuz you just broke the PJ relation, so they display as Selayang. Simple thing. You can try JOSM editor as there is a validator tool

Yes, but my suggesion is to create based on postcode area. And also please be careful that not to vroke the relation. It is better to seperate KL Cgeras and Sgor Cheras. (Cheras Selatan)

If like that, you can trace a multipolygon for Kg Lembah Kinrara, then there will be no issue.

And you can find my Senarai Bandar in the page. That is a draft only.

Yes, but if you can provide photo of the street sign, it would be legit. It is becuz some Russian mappers were adding streetname from Google Maps, and was removed. I dont want this thing happen in Msia again. So there is a safe measurement to “prove” that this is not copied from Google are providing souce. Mapillary and OpenStreetCam are useful. Or you can just upload the street level photo to those website witb street sign, and then added it as a source. Hope this help you. (BTW if you are veteren then u can just input the name for your locality, but such a new user that added many street names in one time will make you being suspicious by the Data Group...)

FYI, you can use neighbourhood for a Taman
hamlet for smaller kampung and kampung in urban area e.g. Klang Valley/Penang. Interchange mean change between them? I would suggest use based on their type. But now I an trying to make it as landuse=residential + place tag, you can refer to Penang or Sg Buloh I had maded recently. For USJ/SS/Section in PJ SA it is better to use quarter, or just draw a polygon for them. Remember not directly copying from Google, it is illegal. And you can create the multipolygon based on street name, its ok.

I am not angry with you but just a little bit frust, hope you can knwo about this. Dealing with this are not funny

87533994 over 5 years ago

Again, please dont simply copy from Google Maps or Waze, it is PROHIBITED and if you want to make it legit, just adding some source tag e.g. SOURCE:NAME, SOURCE:TAG and other. Please have a discussion at here.https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=793387#p793387

just put in what signboard said, dont add Cheras if there is no word for this place. You can use addr:city to fulfill your requirement. I will not fix this, please fix it by yourself

87459803 over 5 years ago

This Kepong is in Selangor, not in KL

87459234 over 5 years ago

How you know it is inaccurate?

87461591 over 5 years ago

For taman, it is suggested to use both place and landuse tag

87562096 over 5 years ago

hamlet is suitable for this site. I think we should have a conversation privately

87506300 over 5 years ago

Same explanation, but place=hamlet really is a wrong tag at here

87508341 over 5 years ago

It is better to treat Sections/ss/usj as a residential area

87508768 over 5 years ago

Hello, hamlet is just a type of tagging. Malaysian dont need to know about this as there is a kampung (village) word in the dictionary. But in OSM here, we use hamlet for smaller village and village in urban area, if not there willl be something like Bandar Sunwway, Kampung Kinrara, Selangor in address

87522245 over 5 years ago

Hello, where do you get the source from? Google and Waze will surely be a no answer for OSM
