you can use this tool to validate which area that didnt have road name (for instance I use Penang cuz it is nearly square, other area also can)

Hello, I had told him as well, hope you all can consider this.
1. Use Openstreetcam instead of Mapillary, if your team still decide to use Mapillary, it is ok but Openstreetcam is better. (and newer developed by Grab team tho)
2. Please use source=Kaart Ground Survey 2020 for every single road that your team had add street names, then local mappers like I can figure out what had your team added, by using overpass turbo, and distinguish from those piss mapper from Grab and local university mapathon, which also contributed a lot data to OSM.
3. Enjoy your trip, hope your team will came to Malaysia next time (cuz Malaysia had a bunch of streets compare to other country due to our locals prefer to stay in terrace house, not apartments.)

Let me see your team till when (in Penang)? Maybe we can do a meetup at Bukit Mertajam next week (if I have time). I suggest that your team use Openstreetcam because it is under CC BY SA license, so maybe some of your streetview imagery that contain buildings and POI can be transferred into Wikipedia. (Mapillary will leave a watermark and I had asked osm community in Telegram and they prefer us to use Openstreetcam)
and then, i think your team should add source=Kaart Groubd Survey 2020 while adding new roadname into OSM database, so that your team's effort can be seen And again while recording the streetside please use a higher quality camera so that can capture more POI around Malaysian cities and can contribute back to our local community, some current imagery are blurry and unable to see. For Penang area, please do note that mostly newer development area like in Bandar Cassia, Penang North Science Park, south Nibong Tebal, Bertam dont have a name in OSM database, and some village will have street name but still need to take as alley as only 1 car can in/out at the same time.

For Johor Bahru area, please do note that newer development area in northern Tebrau almost no street name and also for some new region around Iskandar Puteri, Pasir Gudang, Kulai and Penggerang, part of JB metropolitian.
