Reading this it suggests you can take out the SD card put that into USB card reader and get the date into you PC that way. If the Data is not compatible I think GPS Babel will convert formats for you.

Why not. I enjoy reading the diary. I learn from other mappers methods knowledge and share some of my mapping ideas. I think it is good to hear about other mappers experiences.
