There is currently a barricade here, and a construction site on the northern end of Cross St from here to Mystic Avenue. It isn't clear to me if the street will ever reopen in its previous configuration. This segment should be annotated as “gated access” or similar.

Medford Street from Pearl to Walnut Streets is temporarily one-way for motorists.

The traffic pattern allows motorists to travel from Pearl Street toward Walnut Street.

An exception is allowed from Walnut Street to the Somerville Highschool driveway.
