over 6 years ago | Hi I saw you added way/666661918/history with the name "Unnamed Road". If the road really has no name then you can just leave the name empty, and if you want add the noname=yes tag. Or did you source the name from somewhere else?
over 6 years ago | Hi I noticed you named way/39812127/history "Unnamed", if there is no name you can just omit the name tag. Where did "Unnamed" come from?

over 6 years ago | I reverted your change as you deleted the road name, please next time if in doubt first ask the original contributor of the data via a changeset comment.
over 6 years ago | Indeed it's complicated! I've never heard of "Sydney Transport" so I would say that's wrong. I turn to the wiki for guidance on what network should be. network=* says "A system of routes typically maintained or designated by a single agency or organization." You're correct that at the high level these routes are all part of the "Transport for NSW" network, but within TfNSW you have different brands you pointed out at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_for_NSW#Public_transport_services. I think it's more useful to use the more specific network, ie. "Sydney Trains", "NSW TrainLink Intercity", "NSW TrainLink Regional", "Sydney Metro". The `operator` for the routes can still be the top level "Transport for NSW". That's my view, but the mapper for relation/3165664 has it the other way around. Another example of one I attempted is relation/6440108
over 6 years ago | Hey there, I originally mapped way/692588328 but I think the change you made is probably okay, this is a good example of the difficulty in accurately mapping both physical infrastructure, and logical networks for routing etc.
over 6 years ago | hey we've been getting a lot of poor quality edits, are you the local business owner interested in mapping this in OSM?
over 6 years ago | Hi, welcome to OSM. You might want to read up the how to map section of highway=crossing The crossing node should be place intersecting the footway and road ways, it should be a single node. The ones you added in this changeset are actually the lowered kerb which you can tag with kerb=*
over 6 years ago | Yes Sydney Light Rail but also regular train routes like relation/3165664
over 6 years ago | I have, but as far as I can tell it doesn't include mass public transit on heavy or light rail only "metro", so doesn't show train routes in Sydney.
over 6 years ago | I've reinstated the branch name via the branch tag for the time being.
over 6 years ago | https://osmcha.mapbox.com/changesets/71014610 I think the original name which included the branch name may still be correct, and local knowledge should apply. Either way if the branch name is to removed, then it should at least go into the branch tag.
over 6 years ago | even those these have "College" in their name, they are buildings part of the university and according to amenity=college, the college tag is for further education like TAFE, not higher education like Sydney University.
over 6 years ago | Looks good! If you want you can also add the footway=sidewalk tag to specify that this is a "sidewalk" footpath.
over 6 years ago | Looking at the imagery here, the this area is the parcel that the fire station is on, not the building, so that wouldn't be correct to tag as building=yes. Unless you surveyed here recently and there was a new building?
over 6 years ago | Thanks for fixing this! I included the old one as old_name as found on this old map http://nla.gov.au/nla.obj-231437268/view
over 6 years ago | Hey I noticed for http://osmlab.github.io/osm-deep-history/#/way/379067511 you swapped the school zone max speed from condition to the maxspeed tag. I think the way it was previously is more correct, ie. 60 is the usual speed limit, but conditionally at certain times it has a 40 limit. Is there any reason to do it your way?
over 6 years ago | welcome to OSM. I see you added hilton sydney but it looks like it was already mapped at way/270316692 so I deleted the duplicate on you added, if that's okay.
over 6 years ago | Thanks for adding the name. Does this street specifically forbid horses?
