It's a bit confusing but based on the wiki highway=footway highway=path

highway=footway is more appropriate here as it's a well defined footpath mainly for pedestrians. highway=path is better for multi use paths which aren't defined for any mode.

How come these buildings were removed? From the imagery they look like they exist so I've added them back in.

I've added the service:bicycle tags shop=bicycle#Additional_keys based on your description that this place offers bicycle repair but doesn't sell retail bikes.

It's good practice to have one OSM element for one feature osm.wiki/Good_practice#One_feature.2C_one_OSM_element In this case we should only have one railway=station tag for Regents Park, now it looks like there are multiple train stations there...

Yes I think it would be helpful to specify that this is Vicmap Transport specifically.

Just because it's an uncommon value doesn't mean it should be removed, instead it's best to check with the mapper that added it originally with a changeset comment to see what their intention was, perhaps there is another more appropriate tag (eg. service=alley), instead of just deleting it. Cheers.

Glad to see that City of Melbourne imagery being used. For the toilets to the west, if that whole building is toilets you can drop the node and just add all the tags on the way.

Could you please specify which dataset from services.land.vic.gov.au you're using?

For https://osmlab.github.io/osm-deep-history/#/way/286898692 what's the reason for removing service=laneway?

63339774 about 7 years ago

Could you reference which dataset is being used for the names? There are many different datasets on services.land.vic.gov.au, eg. Vicmap Addresses or Vicmap Transport

I've removed the name see osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don.27t_use_name_tag_to_describe_things

Does "Body Mind Life Redfern" take up the whole building, if it's only part of the building, it's probably best to add it separately as a node.

Hi,

Just a few tips, if a feature already exists in OSM why do you need to add a duplicate? Is this for a school assignment? I've deleted the duplicate parks.

Also see building=terrace that's the right tag for an outline of a series of terrace houses drawn as a whole.

See osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don.27t_use_name_tag_to_describe_things the name tag is for the name only, not a description.

Did you survey way/632329668 as apartments, there is another node saying it's a boxing sports center...

For way/632329683 it's probably better to just map the cafe as a node, the that building part was already mapped as two levels, which it looks like it from the image, but you say it's 1 level, so right now we have conflicting information there... Could you shed some light please?

For way/632329681 the railway landuse is already mapped, it's probably best we use that for the railway=station, but best to read up on the wiki about mapping stations first.

I've fixed these things. It's okay, just some handy tips for next time!

Where did you source those LGA boundary geometries from?

63247679 about 7 years ago

@nevw I went ahead and reverted as it does look wrong and the longer we leave it in place the more mess it can cause if others start editing on top of this.

See osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines#Roundabouts the accepted practice in Australia is to always draw out the roundabout in full. If you want to discuss this please open a discussion on https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-au/

Actually the road name someone had surveyed was correct for the northern part. I've fixed this up.
