These 168 acres are actually the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve Extension. The Extension is one unit of the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. Other units include Los Penasquitos Marsh State Preserve, the State Beach, and the main area of TPSNR which are not correctly indicated along the coast south of the Marsh Preserve. The entrances to the North Beach Parking lot at McGonicle Road (fee) and to the South Beach Parking lot at the intersection of the Park Road & North Torrey Pines Road (fee).
