it is the bot for the license change: osm.wiki/FR:ODbL/We_Are_Changing_The_License This change was discussed a long time and is now near completion.

All data where users did not agree to the new license had to be removed. So please don’t just copy the missing parts back but remap it from ground.

“Check License” has to be number 2 just after “Find new data”. Why? If the data cannot be used for OpenStreetMap no further action needs to be done for OpenStreetMap. Because you’re describing a workflow for OSM here and not some workflow for some people wanting to play around with some data provided by some company under some restritive license.

Why do you think that people should create a separate account for uploading the data?

That was mentioned as good practice at least on the mailing lists. One example: the license change. A user declines the license change, but had also imported some good data which is fine for the new license. Without an import user account is is a mess to sort things out.

Potlach2 always keeps the changeset open until you close it manually (press key c) or a timeout happens. That’s normal. After closing the potloach page and reopening it a new changeset is started. The older changesets will be in “still editing” mode for a few minutes but the changes are already in the database ready to be rendered.

Regarding the swimming pool: Not every item you can enter into the database will be rendered on the standard map. If the swimming pool really is a public open air path you can draw a line around the area and e.g. label it with leisure=water_park (maybe other tagging suits better). Mapping the outline of the pool with leisure=swimming_pool will be rendered on the standard map.

Nur mal ‘n paar Anmerkungen…

Du hast das ganze Gaststättenareal mit building=yes und amenity=public_building gemappt. Das ist m.E. falsch, da es weder ein öffentliches Gebäude im Sinne von Bibliothek, Rathaus, Polizei oder dergleichen, noch überhaupt ein Gebäude ist. Aber auf dem Areal steht zumindest ein Gebäude, das mit amenity=pub getaggt werden kann, aber da hast du ja schon einen Node gesetzt. Außerdem ist die Nordostecke des Areals noch als amenity=biergarten gemappt.

Ich würde das Areal im Kleingarten lassen (erstmal, bis mir was besseres einfällt), dafür aber das Gebäude und den Spielplatz flächig mappen. Was du machst, bleibt natürlich dir überlassen ;-)

The software is developed and tested but failed some tests. So it is still worked on. When it will pass all tests the bot will run for some time to fix non-odbl data. After that a new planet file under odbl/ct license will be released.

Streams should ghave no layer=-1 if they are not underground. But brides need to have layer=1 if they are crossing the stream.

Using layer=-1 on whole streams is imho a bad attitude of lazy mappers to avoid error reports of quality assurance tools (QA) if you forgot to mark a bridge on a street crossing this stream. Without layer=-1 QA can find errors where you just forgot a bridge. With layer=-1 these errors will probably be found only by chance.

Wir können froh sein, überhaupt Bilder zu bekommen. Natürlich wäre es schöner, wenn die auch noch nahezu fehlerfrei "passen" würden, aber Aerowest ist nicht überall ;-)

Im Forum und auf den Mailinglisten wurde das Abschalten des Osmarender-Layers vorab angekündigt.

Die Aerowest-Luftbilder sind leider nicht einfach so zu verwenden. Man muss die einzeln herunterladen und dann als Bild einbinden. Oder man setzt setzt sich einen eigenen Mapserver auf, der die selbst heruntergeladenen Bilder an Potlach oder Josm liefert. Aber 'n kleiner Tipp: Wenn schon einiges gemappt wurde, dann richte doch die Luftbilder so aus, dass sie ungefähr zu dem schon Gemappten passen. Dann bist du auf der sicheren Seite. Denn entweder haben die anderen schon relativ genau gemappt und du hängst dich damit da ran oder du bist eben nur genauso verschoben wie die anderen, was zwar nicht optimal ist, aber ohne Zusatzinfos auch nicht von dir verbessert werden kann.

Aber das mit der Sammelrelation lass mal lieber, da gibt es einige, die dich dafür steinigen würden, wenn du Relationen als Kategorie oder reines Sammelwerkzeug missbrauchen würdest. Im Forum wird sowas immer wieder mal gerne zerpflückt.
