Ich guck da immer mal durch, was so halbwegs offensichtlich als Tippfehler durchgeht. In diesem Fall hab ich dann das eine Gebäude auch gleich noch zugemacht.

I've also corrected the address and opening hours to be in line with how those should be tagged in OSM and moved the POI to (hopefully) the correct building.

Oh, you may take that up with the original creator of that node. I simply go through http://osm.mueschelsoft.de/taginfo/newkeys.htm from time to time and correct obvious typos, which in this case was the 'Website' tag. To me it also looked far from typical spam (where the description would include a complete advertisement or similar) and simply unfamiliarity with how things are tagged in OSM. I'd probably have just changed the tags to conform to our typical tags and left a note with the creator here.

P.S.: Your list of reasons is also overly broad. New objects don't destroy data; yes, standard keys were missing; address data easily be verified from the website. Besides, the creator likely has more on-the-ground knowledge than us, from the looks of it. I'm not sure we should generally discourage shop owners from adding their own shop to OSM.

You've by now repeatedly added the tag "oeprator:type=public" (note the typo in "operator") to some objects, despite "operator:type=public" already being set. Perhaps you should check for typos before pasting the same tag again :-)

Yes, I usually do. This was an unintentional mistake. If you take a look through my history I tend to take pains to keep the changeset bounds small (things like these typically remain confined to a single object or a few hundred meters at most).

Good morning and welcome to OpenStreetMap. Nice that you've included your business in OpenStreetMap. However, in the future, please take some time and familiarize yourself with the conventions and tagging schema (using presets in the editor helps a lot).
I've corrected this here because the way you entered the information made it impossible to process and find for any tool using the OpenStreetMap database, so the business could not be found, nor did it have an address and other machine-readable information; thus it was effectively not there.

OK, dann laß ich die in Zukunft auch stehen. Ich hab bisher direction_* entfernt gehabt, wo ich Relationen nachgetragen habe. Das waren aber zumeist ohnehin Wegweiser, die ich selbst eingetragen habe.

Ich mach das mit den Relationen immer so, wie ich mit dem Rad mal unterwegs bin, was dieser Tage irgendwie leider recht selten ist ...

Was man auch noch machen könnte, ist, die Radrouten-Relationen mal um die Wegweiser zu ergänzen und die geänderte Routenführung einzutragen. In Hirschau geht der Neckartalradweg seit längerem durch die Hohenberger Straße, das ist hier schon passiert, aber ich glaube, der Weg geht inzwischen auch links vom Neckar nach Tübingen (über die Rappenberghalde, etc.), und nicht mehr beim Freibad lang.

Hallo, du hast hier an ein paar Wegweisern die direction_-Tags hinzugefügt, wo es schon Relationen gibt, die das gleiche abbilden (zum Teil mit mehr Details als es die direction_-Tags hergeben, sowas wie zusätzliche Bilder). Beispielsweise node/8682331785 (und sonstige, größtenteils in Hirschau). Vermutlich sind für die die direction_-Tags gar nicht wirklich nötig, oder würde man da üblicherweise beides pflegen?

Ah, I was too quick accepting the changeset message from the Maproulette Challenge ... apparently they made a mistake there. The changeset actually changed the noexit tag.

On the other hand, I think I have to go back and see whether it's really noexit. As far as I understand it, a driveway or similar service road would not be noexit=yes, because at least foot traffic may continue (e.g. through a door). So a lot of those are suspicious on those grounds already.

Aber ich glaube, Flurnamen haben in addr:street trotzdem nichts verloren. Ich schaue heute abend mal, ob ich da genaueres finde. Notfalls mal eine der Mailinglisten fragen ...

Ein Flurname ließe sich sonst mit place=locality (osm.wiki/DE:Tag:place%3Dlocality) eintragen; das gibt es hin und wieder schon in der Gegend.

Andere Frage wäre, ob die Daten von der Karten der Stadt da einfach so verwendet werden dürfen (soweit ich weiß gibt es keine Erlaubnis der Stadt für die OSM-Nutzung ihrer Karten).

Und dann noch am Ende, ob das auch wirklich eine postalische Anschrift für dieses Gebäude ist. Die Nummer 8 findet man zwar in Maps4BW, aber dort hat _jedes_ Gebäude eine Nummer, egal ob es wirklich auch eine Anschrift hat.

Hallo; wo kommt denn hier eigentlich der Straßenname für das Gebäude her? Zumindest gibt es in Tübingen keine Straße diesen Namens. Erst recht nicht in der Nähe dieses Gebäudes.

Der Sportplatz nebenan wird glaube ich für das Jugendangebot Rugby verwendet. Aber weiß nicht ganz, wie detailliert man sowas eintragen sollte.

While this added a lot of Wikidata tags to places that had none so far, it also added at least a few false positives. node/244084738 for example has been placed in Yemen. Generally what I had been doing when determining whether a particular Wikidata item matches the place I wanted to add it to, was to at least also check things like matching province and country.

Apologies for the large area; RoofMapper's random jumping around along with combining everything into one changeset meant that after six roofs all was lost already and I decided to just continue as it couldn't get much worse anyway.

You're right; I was lazy with the changeset message here. Not mapping them as areas was intentional here, though, coming from the following section in the Wiki: osm.wiki/Tag%3Asport%3Dbasketball#Court_without_markings (the Maproulette task has been marked "Not an issue", accordingly). But now that I look at it again, they could probably be an area as well, just not rectangular.
