Only a high-clearance vehicle should attempt to use this parking. The access road is badly rutted and washed out. The paced part of Granite St ends just past #330, and it looks like there is on or two parking spots off the road.

Although it looks like a lot, the cleared area here on the north side of Elm St. is private, and cannot be used for parking. Streetside parking only.

Straight-line trail is considered abandoned by State Forest officials. They want hikers to use the switchback trail to avoid erosion.

The zig-zag trail is blazed yellow and is the official trail. Blazes were few and faded as of 23Nov2021

Runway 14/32 is currently undergoing major construction. In the process its location will change (but the designation 14/32 will remain). The construction is supposed to end sometime next year (2020).
