Hi Pierre Leblanc,

It appears that you have published a personal note to the map here. If you're trying to add something verifiable to the map but you're not quite sure how to do it, please feel free to ask for any help you might require :).

Please do not add fictional features to OSM.

Hi cptnsunny,

Welcome to OSM! I was just curious what Hamzeh Mystique is supposed to be? Is it a new building? You've mapped it as industrial, what does it produce/work on?

Hi and welcome to OSM!

I noticed you added a park to the front of a residential house. This isn't the correct use for this tag, check out the OSM wiki for the best and most correct way to map parks and other features - leisure=park

Feel free to reach out if you need some help :)

My bad - the irony of correcting an error and producing an error of my own - changeset comment ended up in source:

"Reverting a series of "test" edits including the addition of fake buildings and impossible angles in highways."

Hi TrippQ3,

It appears you've been testing out the iD editor for OSM. It's awesome you're interested in contributing to the map, but it appears that you have published several changes that you might not have intended to.

Please remember that when you press that "save" button, your edits go live on the public map. I've reverted several of your changes that were clearly incorrect, but you might want to check some of your others just to confirm that they are supposed to be on the map:

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask :)

Hi JSJumpy, you appear to have changed the boundaries of Apex Park so that they cover the nearby buildings - is there a reason you did this?

I noticed you have attempted to make a similar edit before as well - changeset/66676040

If you are trying to update something but not quite sure how to do it, please let us know, we're happy to help :)

Hi GoldnGraham,

Including this changeset, there has been several occasions where you have added parks over the top of residential homes - in this particular case you can actually see the house being constructed in this new estate by looking at various sets of OSM-friendly satellite imagery.

I'm not sure what your exact intention is here, but please don't make inaccurate additions to the map. If you are trying to add legitimate features and have found yourself a little confused, please feel free to reach out, I'm happy to help.

Hi Trevor,

It looks like you might have mistagged this space as per your changeset comment. I think you might be looking for amenity=parking rather than leisure=park?

Hi Tariq Kamal Azoonzai,

Thank you for your recent additions to the map.

I just saw this one and thought I should check - was it supposed to be mapped as a "peak" rather than a "park"?

Hi and welcome back to OSM.

Looking at this edit, it appears that you have added a park over some residential homes. This isn't the first time you've made a similar edit (changeset/54356558 also added an invalid park).

Please only add real features to the map. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi lipinlupoo,

What were you trying to do in this edit? You created multiple areas for a park feature that already exists on the map, added a cave entrance and a water feature where there clearly is none.

Please let us know if you need any help.

Hi mcaz and welcome to OSM. I see you're already actively making contributions which is really awesome.

Looking at this edit, you appear to have added a residential backyard as a park - this isn't the correct tag to use in this case. The OSM wiki is a great resource and its page on parks contains some brilliant information on what is and isn't a park in the context of Open Street Map - leisure=park

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Myself (and many other mappers) will be happy to help out :).

Hi potatosareawesome, as requested previously, please only add real features to the map. Thank you :).

Hi RylosGaming,

Thank you for your contributions to OSM. I see you're trying to add a park in this changeset - in this case you've created/edited 6 unlinked park nodes for one park.

The better way to do this is to create one single area and use it to cover the whole park, tagging it only once. If you check the location now, I've done this for you so that you can see an example.

I've left the playground as a node/point because that is a separate feature.

If you have any questions feel free to ask :).

Hi jwretlin,

Not sure if you saw chachafish's comment above, but as you haven't responded, I have created a section of landuse=grass here: way/682210777
and here:
way/678260341

If you want to micro-map around 8000 Uptown, that's awesome, but rather than changing the area for the whole block to grass, it would be better and more correct to create new areas where the grass actually is.

If you need any help, please feel free to ask :)

Hi and welcome to OSM!

Thank you for your recent addition, however it looks like you might not be fully understanding what a park is in the context of OSM:
leisure=park

Turk Park and Barness Park are both good examples of real parks close to your edit.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask :)

Hi Steviedun,

Welcome to OSM! Thank you for your recent contribution.

In this case, are you sure leisure=park is the best way to describe this space? It looks like it might be farmland or a private meadow.

Here is the OSM wiki page for the park tag:
leisure=park

68681674 over 6 years ago

Sure, no problem, I'll revert your change for you. For your info, the original park is here: way/661348890/ , it was added three months ago and seems fine :).

Hi Dingo1411,

Thank you for your first contribution to OSM :)

Having a look, this feature already exists as a single area on the map - is there a reason two additional areas need to be created for the park?

I see that you've added descriptions to both areas stating what is there, but this can also be achieved by adding tagged areas (such as the existing pitches and ponds) to the park.

Additionally, your new areas cover several houses outside of the park, is this intentional?

If you need any help, please don't hesitate to ask :)
