over 4 years ago | Hi, You changed this building into water way/665725733/ Possibly an error?
over 4 years ago | Fictional mapping/graffiti created in this changeset (a head wearing a hat composed of various forms of landuse) was removed in #106363650
over 4 years ago | Hi, You added this house as a very narrow triangle: way/949449576#map=19/44.28840/-84.65861 I can't find where the building is supposed to be, are you able to clarify? Cheers!
over 4 years ago | Hi samtheman100, Welcome to OSM! We define parks in a particular way, and that definition does not include private yards or gardens. You can read more about mapping parks here: leisure=park
over 4 years ago | Hi Mallory M, OSM is a public map. Please avoid adding personal information such as "MY HOUSE"
over 4 years ago | Hi Loverbot9k, Welcome to OSM! We define parks in a particular way here on OpenStreetMap: leisure=park I'm not sure if the locations you added here would match the wiki's definition.
over 4 years ago | Hi HappyLappy93, Welcome to OSM! In this changeset, you added a park over a house. On OSM, we define parks in a particular way, you can read more here: leisure=park If you were trying to add something in particular, but you're not quite sure how to do it, please feel free to reach out. I have removed the park in question.
over 4 years ago | Hello Irma, No problem at all! Maxar imagery is currently newer, but the resolution and alignment in this area is much lower quality than DCS NSW. You might find that you need to swap between the two sources. Just one of those things, haha :-) Happy mapping!
over 4 years ago | Hi YesJayden, In the past hour, I've managed to find and add several unmapped parks in your local area just using satellite imagery. This fictional park and path that you've re-added will be removed. I would suggest that you spend your time actively improving your local area with real mapped features that won't be deleted. If you need help, please feel free to reach out.
over 4 years ago | Hi Irma, Thanks so much for your contribution to the Central Coast area. I have a couple of questions if that's okay. 1) I noticed you deleted the pier in this changeset - was that intentional? The source listed on the changeset is Maxar, but the pier is present in that imagery. 2) You slightly moved the building near the pier. At the moment we find that DCS NSW imagery has a superior offset compared to Maxar. The building was aligned correctly with DCS imagery, so I would suggest that the original location was more correct. Thanks again!
over 4 years ago | Hi YesJayden The park and footpath you added covered a house and its yard. This is a public map that is used for many real word purposes. Please do not add fictional elements to it, they will be removed.

over 4 years ago | Hi Adiatma, I'm not experienced with Atlas-checks so I appreciate your expertise. I had a look at the building:part area and there was a very tiny intersection with the building area. I believe this is what might have triggered the detection in this case? I have refined and adjusted it, so we should be all good now.

over 4 years ago | Thanks for the reply! Maybe highway=construction + construction=(road type) would be a good stand-in while it's being worked on? "This tag is used together with construction=* for any type of highway, including roads, tracks and paths, currently under construction and impassable by the traffic it is intended for."
