| 95694758 | about 5 years ago | Hi Gabriel, As always your enthusiasm is appreciated, however, I believe these kinds of changes have been discussed with you before and reverted multiple times. Discussions have occurred on the following changesets among others:
The entire grounds in these situations have been confirmed to be the property/grounds of the schools in question, including via emails to the Baltimore County parks department which has confirmed that schools grounds are indeed operated by the schools in question (such as in changeset/70094413) I really appreciate your enthusiasm when it comes to helping your local Pokemon GO community, but I can assure you that this is not the best way to go about things, and that your incorrect or false changes will be reverted. As always, please feel free to reach out if you need help making legitimate changes to the map. Best, Wood. |
| 95461439 | about 5 years ago | Hi Mick-Mappy and welcome to OSM!
Are you sure leisure=park is the best way to describe it? |
| 95324440 | about 5 years ago | Hi ThramFlacox79 and welcome to OSM.

| 94848138 | about 5 years ago | Hiya Boom050982, Welcome to OSM! When you added the larger park area here, you also changed the Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery from a cemetery into a park. Was this an intended change or a mis-click? |

| 94736824 | about 5 years ago | Hiya 2Woy, Welcome to OSM! The water area beyond this line to the West is treated as part of Broken Bay which is a natural=water + water=harbour relation. Link: relation/1256210 The coastline tag is a bit of a special case as it not only defines the start of the ocean, but it also defines landmasses within the ocean itself (such as mainland Australia). Breaking the coastline by removing sections can cause problems. I could see how you could mount an argument to include some or all of Broken Bay inside the coastline (possibly after community discussion) but removing a section without any discussion and other fixes is not the correct way to go about this. More on the coastline tag, here: osm.wiki/Coastline |
| 94662390 | about 5 years ago | Doh! Thank you for fixing this. |
| 93899264 | about 5 years ago | I just noticed this while darting about the map and was wondering who did all this beautifully detailed mapping out here. Of course it was you. Nice work! |
| 93942020 | about 5 years ago | Hi Matt, Welcome to OSM And thanks for your recent additions. When it comes to the name tag, you should normally reserve it for the actual names of things, so a private pool doesn't need to be called "name=pool" if it's already tagged correctly, and each property doesn't need the name "Property 1" "Property 2" and so forth. | 93826252 | about 5 years ago | Hi Davis, Welcome to OSM. This changeset created a few errors and duplications. At a glance, the following features were already on the map before you added second versions of them:
OSM works on the idea of one feature, one osm element, you can read more here:
Please reach out if you need some help setting things right. |
| 93760217 | about 5 years ago | Hi Megan, Please check the errors that iD presents you with before uploading. OSM is a live map so any edits you make are accessible to everyone. This changeset has 14 errors for crossing highways. Some of the paths you added intersected other existing paths, buildings and roads, and don't seem to relate to what is on the ground |
| 93757311 | about 5 years ago | Hi Quach, Welcome to OSM! Your "fishing path" currently runs through the water - is this correct? Please also note that the name tag should only be used for real names of things, not descriptions. It's 100% ok to leave the name tag blank. |
| 93631010 | about 5 years ago | Hi Vincenzosaurini, In this changeset you seem to have accidentally dragged some footpaths the whole way across campus. I've fixed them now. The iD editor would have highlighted those errors for you before you published them, so it might be a good idea to check errors before uploading changes in the future. |
| 93657660 | about 5 years ago | This is a public map that is used for many real word purposes. Please do not add fictional elements to it, they will be removed. |
| 93572429 | about 5 years ago | Hi Sinviana! Welcome to OSM and thanks so much for your recent contributions! I just thought I'd check this park: way/867170745 Are you sure you got it in the right place? I can't see any evidence of a park here and it looks like it partially intersects someone's front yard. This is how we define a park on OSM:

| 93491859 | about 5 years ago | Hello! I see that you are mapping the Seto Inland Sea as a relation. As it is currently mapped as a series of "outers" forming an incomplete ring relation. This triggers a number of errors on error checkers such as OSM inspector, and can also cause many renderers to attempt and close the ring and consequently include land in the bay: https://imgur.com/Fh5A9dl My suggestion would be to not tag this feature until it is complete, or to upload it only once it is complete. |
| 93357397 | about 5 years ago | Don't you just hate when that happens!? If you're at all familiar with the location: I did the best I could, but the tagging here could probably use a little refinement and I'm not sure if the address is 100% accurate with everything in the complex being a single house number. |
| 93354173 | about 5 years ago | Hi Joshuathor, Welcome to OSM and thanks for your recent additions to the map. Please keep in mind that this is not a residential directory. It's best to avoid listing who lives in certain houses and also to limit the mapping of private residential property to very basic details such as permanent buildings, driveways, and larger pools. More reading to help you out: osm.wiki/Limitations_on_mapping_private_information Thanks again for your contributions! Happy mapping. |
