| 75856722 | about 6 years ago | Hi again Schmmidtty, I'm probably going to comment on a few of your changesets, so apologies in advance. You've added a lot of unnamed parked here in a very small space - what makes each area different? Could they be mapped as a single park area? |
| 75854866 | about 6 years ago | Hi Schmiddtty and welcome to OSM!
This is how we define parks on OSM:
|
| 75840409 | about 6 years ago | OSM is a real world map used for many purposes by many individuals and organisations. Multiple mappers have had to clean up your fake additions when they could have been improving the map instead. Please stop wasting everyone's time. |
| 75854287 | about 6 years ago | Hi TFAAAP, welcome back to OSM. Please note that we define parks in a certain way here: leisure=park?uselang=en The area you've mapped here, which included roads, a parking lot, and a few houses does not qualify as a park. |
| 75738370 | about 6 years ago | Hi NatureWalks420. What are you trying to add here? These new additions don't really make any sense. |
| 75694622 | about 6 years ago | Hi Olivert, Third battle Of Winchester seems more like it should be historic=battlefield or similar rather than a park - does the location have another name? |
| 75392272 | about 6 years ago | Please do not add fictional features to OSM. This is a real world map that people rely on for many purposes. |

| 75604262 | about 6 years ago | Hi Momo Lad and welcome to OSM. Please be more careful with your changes and make sure you consult the OSM wiki on the best way to tag features. You've added a lot of things that obviously don't exist, and also tagged a lot of things incorrectly such as placing parks in residential back yards, and marking driveways as footpaths. You also added a lot of natural features like bare rock and grasslands where these features don't exist. OSM is relied on by many organisations for many different purposes. It's important that you do your best to make sure that your contributions accurate and true to what is on the ground. You can find the OSM wiki here: osm.wiki/Main_Page |
| 75608803 | about 6 years ago | Hi Deecee83, You created a small square of primary road between the residential buildings here:
|
| 75593114 | about 6 years ago | Park was the correct tag here, the playground is already mapped separately as a point/node. |
| 75485477 | about 6 years ago | Hey, thanks! I'm glad that you like the research threads :) |
| 75594455 | about 6 years ago | Hi The Roadtrain and welcome to OSM! Thanks for your recent contributions! This is just some feedback on your usage of key name= and the tag leisure=park: Name= should be used for actual names, not descriptions where possible. Descriptions can generally be achieved using other tags. Leisure=park as a distinct meaning on OSM. You can read more about it here: leisure=park?uselang=en. In the case of this changeset, a well does not qualify as a park. Thanks again for contributing to the map, please feel free to reach out if you need any help. |
| 75591248 | about 6 years ago | Sorry, I stand corrected. One area is already in a park, the other isn't a park but is a playground. |
| 75591248 | about 6 years ago | Hi Tazz and welcome to OSM! Both of these areas you changed/added are already in park areas, you're probably looking for something closer to leisure=playground and possibly amenity=shelter? |
| 75583685 | about 6 years ago | Hi Teddy V. If you want to mark a playground located in this apartment complex, that's fine, but please try to avoid marking the entire complex as a playground. I fixed this for you this time. |
| 75533179 | about 6 years ago | A car park and a building do not constitute a park by OSM definitions. |
| 75487957 | about 6 years ago | As a local, I can say for a fact that there is definitely no power plant or cave in Lemon Grove Park. |
