There is a new block of flats here, known as Whetstone Square.

There are two blocks - A and B - of flats, one behind the other. There are then 10 houses behind (Lilia Mews).

The postcode for this block is N20 0FS, and the flats have the address 1066 High Road. This was previously known as 1060-1070 High Road, N20 0QP, and at one point held the post code N20 0YY.

The whetstone which, according to legend, gives the neighbourhood its name, as soldiers supposedly sharpened their swords here before the 1471 Battle of Barnet.
