As nev said ... for some who use their phones the render indicates if a place is open/closed based on the open_hours values - in machine readable format. By not providing the OSM syntax the data is not usable by these renders. Letting you know this helps as you could then follow the correct entry method. Ok?

A 'pitch is a playing area of the sport, it does not include the supporting buildings, roads etc - those form the landuse=recreation ground. Way: 35090207 returned to rec. ground.

The solution is to make it a multipolygon relation. this should have an 'outer way' around the outside and an 'inner way' for the hole. For more see osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon

Keep an eye on that inspector website. I use it to find my own errors. Can take a while for errors to be found so an error made some days ago may not show up for some time.
I'm not a great 'tool' user... prefer to know what is going on.

One of the OSM guides is "one feature = one OSM entry". This changeset has a few pitches with the name "Cavanbah Centre". This appears to be a recreation ground ... I have removed the multiple same names and placed the data on the rec. ground.

Nit picking ...
The sport pitches Way: 722379788 and Way: 722379789 don't look to have any physical existence? leisure=pitch#How_to_map suggest using a node in such situations. I have mapped the 'recreation_ground' that surrounds the area ... maybe more appropriate place to tag the sports .. these probably move around the area anyway.

OSM is not a playground for fantasy, it is a data base used by many mapping applications. Placing gates across a public road is not a joke.

Please map what is there.

I would not delete the areas as they are still there and can be used for teh sports so should remain.. untill they are not useable.
