Hi,
Six maps is NOT allowed as a source!

LPI Base Map/Topo maps are...

Hi,

Looking at relation/9157945 ... a house.

What are you trying to map here?

As a simple building it has a simple outline. The easiest thing to do would be to map the outer way as a house and move on.

But you have an area that looks like a carport or garage. So - map that as a simple way ... and then map the house separately excluding the carport/garage.

If you what to get fancy with different levels in the building then you use the tag building:part=* .. see building:part=*

Note - none of these are relations.

Hi,
Combining Lurline St into one segment means the bus route relation for route 686 will not work!

Please leave the street as 2 separate bits... You may find similar issues if you try combining separate segments into one segment .. even if they are the same street/road .. they may be separated for any number of reasons.

Hi,
Ways should not self intersect. JOSM would have warned you of this when you up loaded.

Way: 594050399 needs to be fixed.

Hi,
These 'guide posts' ... located in the middle of the street? I would not think so.
I have deleted one in Mary Ann St.
The rest can go ... but I think they should go somewhere.

Hi,
You marked the school grounds as 'construction' . cannot really construct the school grounds .. I think it would be the building that is under going construction?

This is not a bus 'station' but a bus stop.

See highway=bus_stop
and
amenity=bus_station

Hi,
Welcome to OSM.
An apartment is not necessarily tourism... if they are .. what is the name? Looks like a simple private apartment .. not open to tourist occupation.
216 is further south, I have moved it.

Ok.
This is one way to find your own area errors ..
Look at
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=150.45542&lat=-34.45013&zoom=13&opacity=0.57

That should give some idea of what is wrong.
Of course it will pick up other people errors too .. (I use it to find my errors)

As there has been no response for a year by the author, I have removed shop=* as there is no shop there. Possibly the building is disused:building=retail.

Change sets comments are used to say what you are doing. They help understand what happened when you or others look back at what happened and why.

Take a look at

1) Lambert Park ... is not all covered by trees. Suggest you use the tree area from Brush Farm Park to map the true extent of the trees.

2) What evidence is there that Lambert Park connects to Brush Farm Park? The LPI base map shows a clear area between them that it does not name.

3) the boundaries you have drawn do not agree with the base map.

4) Relation outer ways should not touch. In this case if Lambert part is this total area then it should be drawn as one simple way.

I had previously mapped this area before the LPI data was avalible. It is normally polite practice to edit the old entry if required... The changes you have done to the old entry covers a few change sets.

Ok, good.

I'm a long way away.
Is it still in use? Or is it disused? If disused then disused:*=* could be used ..

Hi,
Moving some nodes has created a problem with way/546491948 .. and way/556854261 ... these are 'residential' areas. They cross themselves.

I hope I have now correct these back to what they were before. 375 nodes changed back.

65538774 about 7 years ago

Way: 655517620 has no tags, self crosses and has a duplicated node.
way/655517376 dupliceted node ... and many more ...
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=115.74191&lat=-32.53565&zoom=16

Sorry Sean.
Your just starting out. Suggest you do one simple floor/level .. and wait a few days to check that it draws no comment?

HI,

umm 'adding details'?
You deleted the name Subiaco Oval' .. is this not up for demolition? Should it be marked landuse=brownfield?

In general;
Footpath - paved, beside a road (or at least in a well maintained area)

Path - through the bush. generally unpaved

Tagging can make either the same as the other. It comes from the British who like to distinguish between them for some reason. Here we don't bother too much with the differences - one for the city the other for the bush.

The 'Marsden High School Soccer Oval' also gets used for cricket. I think the 'name' is more of a description. Same for the volley ball area.

I have mapped the individual soccer pitche and the cricket pitch. I have also mapped the school boundaries from the LPI Base Map.

The pitches do not go to the middle of the roads. Nor does the fence go over the footpath to the middle of the roads .. I have fixed these things.
But I do not know what sport is played on the pitch soth east of the cricket pitch.
And I have only roughly place one volley ball court. These are things you would find much easier than me to fix.

Hi,
Welcome to OSM.
What does MHS mean?

Note joining Terry Rd has broken some suburban administration boundaries. This will be undone. Please be carefull.

network=lcn is a tag for a route relation .. not on a way.
