I got it off the Base Map. A google got some hits ...
https://oa.anu.edu.au/obituary/craft-joseph-25558
But no real information as to who runs it. Possibly the local council. But no luck with a search on Central Coast Council. It is a nice part of the world.

Hi,
Some of the racks have names different from "Wilderness Coast Walking Track" according to the DCS Base Map & Topo map. I have changed these. In order to keep the route information I have made a route relation. See https://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org/#route?id=15282770&type=relation&map=11.0/-37.4342/150.0191

You are not local so the source claim of 'local knowledge' does not hold up. So what is the source of this information? facebook,youtube?

WayWay: 1131062223 lists the source as 'homehound' ... that site is copyright...

Hi,

Would not the "Wilderness Coast Walking Track" be a route? While signs may state 'Wilderness Coast Walking Track' that may simply indicate the route rather than a track name?

Hi,
Welcome to OSM!

One of the harder things to do are multipolygon relations.
The relation/15097195 - building - is not right .. the outer ways 'share segments'. In this instance I would not have a relation ... I'd simply have a single way around the whole thing...
For the error see https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=145.27087&lat=-37.77342&zoom=19&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=duplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways%2Cduplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways

This error remains. Most people learn well from fixing their own errors. Let me know if you need help. See changeset/130358018

Hi,
I have closed the tree relation that was open. I have also made the tree way into a relation - so as to inculde holes and stop crossing of the tree areas. Probably worthwhile to combine ther 2 releations into one relation.
Observation: At least some of this looks to be forestry to produce timber, in that case it would be better to map it as landuse=forest, produce=timber. ???

Hi,
way/662758608 has been restored, this is part of the relation for Anglesea Heath Alcoa Agreement Area and is required to close the area.

It looks like both the Anglesea Heath Alcoa Agreement Area and the new entry of way/1128451034 share this area... ???

HI,
This is from a long tome ago.. but just in case you do any more of these.. 'x Homestead' is the name of the main residential building, while 'x Station' is the name for the farm..

125466700 about 3 years ago

Pitty. If there was a source we could use ther are a great many homesteads that could be mapped.

Oh.. you can look up peoples change sets ..click on their 'name' and you get
@Diacritic
then look at the edits
@Diacritic/history

and then click on the feature
node/10303591907

My stomach is grumbling...

@ Derrick_86 No need to be 'sorry' about it. We all do things when starting out - part of learning is making errors. But you must be aware that they are errors to learn from them.
OSM is vast - there is a lot to learn, just learn the bits you are interested in and leave the other bits for others :)
Any problems .. ask. May be a bit terse .. I'm off to make dinner.. bye.
