Hi,
This area is inside Victoria... ???

Hi,
Relation: Sydney Metro Northwest (8631621) error reported by OSMInspector - PTV2. Train route finish platform was placed at the end of the relation members. This has been corrected to the end of the platforms/stops .. The ways then follow those platforms/stops.

Hi,

When a footway crosses a building .. there is either an entrance - should be mapped as a node on both the footway and building, or the building is a roof and should be tagged layer=1 (or 1 higher than the footway layer).
Footway Way: 1031077605 crosses several buildings..

One of the 'problems' is that renders regard landuse=forest to be the same as natural=wood.

The Putty State Forest includes grass areas .. and residential areas ... these should not be excluded form it. Much like a National Park has tree areas, rock areas, grass areas.. all part of the National Park.

The mapper who added the large tree area is simply mapping trees - not the land use.

Hi,
Pedantic mode engaged...

Usually the dominate land cover is mapped, so if mostly trees then natural=wood, if mostly grass then landcover=grass (and the ridiculous landuse=grass so it renders).

If both grass and trees must be mapped then we get micro mapping .. So I have made an example change - see relation/13780764

Hi,

The Putty State Forest is not a land cover ... and should not be changed to match tree cover or any other land cover. The Putty State Forest is truly a 'land USE'.
Changeset partly reverted to restore Putty State Forest.

Hi,

The park way/142127344 crossed itself, I have corrected that using Bing imagery. I have also removed the connection between the park way and the adjacent road.

Note that my comments stated the past tense. I have already made corrections.

relation/13761878 was created in this changeset.
See relation/13761878/history - version 1 is the start and the mapper there is you.
I am not local to the area hence my comment to you so you are aware of the changes, so you can asses them from your local knowledge.

Hi,
The multipolygon relation/13761878 for the brownfield was not closed. Additionally it carried a tag for a fence. I have closed the relation. And removed the fence tag - there would be gates to get through so the fence would not be continuous.

Suggest - map the fences with separate gates. Then include them in a relation for the brown field - the relation only has tags for the brown field not fences nor gates.

Hi,
The 'Off Leash Dog' park... I have made some changes

tag dog=yes to dog=unleashed
see dog=*
tag name=Off Leash Dog to description=Off Leash Dog area
see osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only

Keep mapping! The bush does need it.

Hey, thanks for that ...
but osm clinic = 10 or more of doctors, nurses and associated staff. Clinics offer outpatient care, diagnosis, radiology, treatment, and sometimes urgent care

so amenity=doctors would be more appropriate. Now I've go to go back and check my clinic entries! Doh!

Hi,

The 'brownfield' 'Log Cabin Hotel' relation is in error... see https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=150.68261&lat=-33.74737&zoom=17

32752693 almost 4 years ago

Clinic? Or doctors?
"Triage capabilities' .. my local doctor does that too .. when required.
Do you have a web link for them .. I could not see one.

Flat Products Medical Centre ... does not appear to be a hospital... I have removed that tag and left the name and building...

Corrected relation for park; roles now all outers.

Corrected name for relation; back to Beeliar Regional Park.

Hi,
Problem with relation/13727652 leisure=track. The roles are reversed from what they should be - example the 'inner' has the role 'outer'.

116647167 almost 4 years ago

Hi,
There is an error on one of the buildings - see https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=150.82771&lat=-33.76454&zoom=18

Add imagery source = Maxar Prem.

116579089 almost 4 years ago

Ummm those are fairly simple relations. But good first steps.
As 'a guide'
ways should be limited to 2,000 nodes
relations limited to 300 members.

So 300 ways of 2,000 nodes =600,000 nodes.. when you work on a large scale things can get messy really quick.

Have fun, map what you like to see.

???

The 'route' named 'The Goldfields Track' could be considered a collection of tracks/roads. Each track/road could have no name, a name (not necessarily 'The Goldfields Track'). These individual segments should not carry the name of the route, route signs don't necessarily indicate the name of the track/road section.

See https://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org/#route?id=3205828&type=relation
