OK,

So the building is elevated .. tag it layer=1, this way it goes 'over' other things on the 'ground' (which is the default of layer=0).

I have made a few changes... layer=1 to a few things, added entrance=yes. You will need to add

'exit' to the platforms.
lifts (highway=elevator in OSM)
the stair that goes nowhere should have a corridor from it.
The phone .. is that at layer=1?

And probably many other details ..

Oh .. the Maxar Preimum Imagery looks to be up to date?

Hope that helps.

Hi,
Welcome to OSM.

Some problems with relation/741640374.

As a guide .. one OSM element is best when it is one real thing, not a bridge + a building + a station.

A multiploygon relation outer ways should not touch nor share segments.

A bridge usually goes over the top of things, in OSM the layer=* tag is used to indicate what is over or under the 'normal' layer.

---------------
Use the OSM wiki to get details ..
e.g. railway=station
So the easiest thing to do is use a node rather than try to define an area. However this has already been done so your entry is a duplicate of it.

The 'building' is probably the south western section of the relation - so tag that way as the building - 2 story? The 'bridge' the north easter section, bridge=yes, layer=1?

Hi,
Welcome to OSM.
An error made here with multipolygon relations. The outers should form a closed area.. neither the residential are nor park do that.
The park should remain as a simple way, no need for a relation here.
The residential area would be bound by the edge of the lane to the park and the park by the same lane .. the land would be landuse=highway .. but it is not a significant thing.

------------------------
I have made the park back into a simple way.
I have closed the residential relation .. but I think that too can be simplified back into a simple single way.

These rivers and there banks are part of the park... relationship 10227804 should not have them as inners...

76294870 about 6 years ago

That works for me.
Don't worry about making errors .. we all do them. Keep mapping.

Hi,
Welcome to OSM.

This changset has several errors. You may find the OSM wiki helpfull in resolving these..
osm.wiki/Main_Page Use the search box to find things.

One of these errors is relation/10224797 build=roof;yes. OSM does not do buildings as several values, buildings can only be one value. The relation looks to have 2 buildings - I assuem one is th eroof the other is jst a building.. What I would do is delete the relation and tag each separate way as building=*. Thew roof should get a layer=1 too..

Giday,
The Men's Sheds have been discussed on the Australian group and concluded with osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines#Mens_Shed

Giday,
The Australian group have discussed these Men's Sheds, the result is osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines#Mens_Shed

Hi,
Add an object with only a name will not make it render. E.g. name=Men's Shed .. but what is it? Officed? Club? Community faclity ??? It has to have more than a name ...
For Men's Shed see osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines#Mens_Shed

There are many long rivers.
And there are limitations on how many members a multipolygon relation should have - 300. Personally I limit mine to 200 - this allows more additions later usually without hitting the limit. If you get close - simply use 2 or more relations.
Good luck.

Multipolygon relations inner rings cannot touch or share segments with outer rings.

Introducing Way: 738187409 has made the relation for the river bank not closed. It should be deleted.... what was it purpose?

75331229 about 6 years ago

It was not very obvious in rendering. SO I took a look at the cover, the scrub does not go all the way to the eastern side so I made a gap.. there will now be a blank bit between it and the sea ... it should show up now. Looks good to me.

Hi,

The relation/10168936 is a duplicate of relation/10168935.
Both of these relations you made for the park that has 2 ways previously tagged as parks..

Well multipolygon relations outer ways cannot share segments or nodes - they should not touch one another.

2 solutions; both delete the relations!

Revert back to having no relation and simply tag each way as separate parks as it was before
OR
Combine the 2 ways into one way and tag the single way as a park.

There is no need for a relation here.
