errg cape not cap! Cap is in there too under natural .. no idea what that is.

69327289 over 6 years ago

A 'cap' is into the sea (or water) and point can be overland ..
I'd retain place=locality for rendering and natural=point for truth.

Checking place=cap to see if it is a 'point' later on would be a pain, finding location and point is easy.

Hi,

Do you mean the name of the track is "Unnamed' OR that the tack has no name???

69414149 over 6 years ago

Hi,
The software does not automatically combine relations with the same name.

We mappers have to place the individual ways in to the relations .. in this case using roles of 'outer'
An example might help?
relation/5709558#map=15/-33.8908/151.2727
On the left panel you can see the members of the relation - the first one is a label - where to put the name of the relation - Bondi in this case .. then the outers are listed.

In the list of outers there is 'Ramsgate Avenue' with the role outer. The same way is also part of the relation for 'North Bondi' .. see
way/383661777

---------------------
PS I don't like policies, rules and labels that are nonsense .. like land USE = grass... complete idiocy.

Hi,
multipolygon relations outer ways cannot touch - against the 'rules'..

69414149 over 6 years ago

Hi,
Why do you have 3 relations .. for the same thing (Miami)??? And each of those relations do not form a closed area...

69399871 over 6 years ago

Hi,
The park relation is not good. The 2 outer ways cross each other and that is against the 'rules'. In this case I'd make a simple outer way - no relation.

It was a though to reduce the use of place=locality.. but looking at pierces corner .. there are lots of crossings of the ways there and most of them have traffic light tags on them as they should. So if I were to try and place a highway=junction where would I place it??? As highway=junction does not look to be documented I gave up ..

Some success with natural=bay. But I am leaving place=locality on natural=point as it is not documented, and leaving it on others that are not rendered too ... Strawberryhills I have changed from locality to neighborhood - think that fits.

HI,

Would this be the road junction of vic rd and Pennant Hills rds ..? might be better as the tag for highway=junction name= etc now..

Hi,

What is the source of these localities?

Node: Rathane (283346895)
Node: Telford (283345301)

I don't see them on the LPI Base Map.

Not fussed at all. But not a hotel.

Hi,
Changing from construction to constructed not only means changing highway=construction but also the removal of the tag construction=* ...

Looking good!

Test???
There are sandboxes for testing, and fantasy sites for fantasy. Use them, not OSM.

Deleted way/319225015. no tags. And others with no tags. If it has no tags then there is no information on what it is .. clutter.

27887556 over 6 years ago

Deleted some of these. They are not under construction, some have no tags to say what they are ... clutter for 4 years.

Good Luck. Should not be too hard, if you need help .. ask.

Hi,

Where a path ends .. it should normally join to something. For Way: 683270667 I have extended it to Cadigal Place, then detailed the 4 steps on the path.
If a path or road just stops without any exit then add the tag 'noexit=yes'.

I have also expanded the nearby park to the LPI Base Map boundaries.

Hi
