Hi,

mtb:description should only be used on ways, not nodes.

There are a little less than 200 of these in this area. Are they used?

Hi,
Make a change set comment.

Where did this information come from?

Hi,
The scrub area Relation: 9361368 has included some 'bear rock' areas (I prefer the term 'mainly rock') and lakes. I have edited it with a few new inners for those that are totally enclosed.

Unfortunately there are a number that cross ways ... More work needs to be done to resolve these issues - I would recommend zooming in more and trying to stick to a more precise definition. Leaving a few blank areas on the map can be a good thing, encourages others to look.

Hi,
I am slowly going through the OSMimspector tagging errors.. so these ways that have no features come up

517137770 name=Macmasters Beach to Maitland Bay Return
Second Point
Bombi Point
81 Trail
Caves Beach

They all look to be correctly entered already... so I think these should be deleted.

Hi,

You look like you have tried to change this from a construction of a rail line to make it a finished line. But you left behind construction=rail .. and that confuses the issue.. is it finished? or still being constructed???

It is a good puzzle! Appears to be a square box over ground that then descends under ground ... I don't think it is a single pipeline. But I cannot say what it is.

Areas with holes in them should be represented by relations type=multipolygon
way/70076782 have been changed in to this kind of relationship.

Hi,

This has only confused the issue!

When you removed the highway=proposed .. you need also to remove the proposed=* key.

Hi,
The node for hireup needs a physical OSM entry. I have added the tag office=yes.

20629475 almost 7 years ago

You'd thing a web developer would know that it is important to follow data entry.

In this case there are no physical tags.
Possibly office=*#Office ???

Ok .. you got me ..
What is Way: 648316059??? :)

67058416 almost 7 years ago

Hi,

When you change a route - please keep the way is sequential order. This helps with routing and in displaying the route on apps such as https://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org/#route?id=2347838&map=5!-33.0221!153.7822. Here you can click on ht elevation profile and get a sequential presentation of the elevation.. provided that ways are sequential in the OSM data base. Similar for the GPX and KML files.

Hi
The sub station is only a simple way.

The site relation forms the wind farm ...

--------------------------
The change set comments make no sense to me ... what is 'company id' ?

Hi,
Why do the residential areas need to be a relation (9389456)?

They look to me like they could all be simple ways. Much easier.

67088226 almost 7 years ago

Some of these have no tags to say what they are.

60295187 almost 7 years ago

I have corrected your open hours, OSM uses 24 hour time and 2 charter abbreviations for the days.
I have also added the physical tag office=yes.

67534689 almost 7 years ago

Hi
Way: 672795688 should be named Bristol St - see LPI BaseMap. Secondly it does not connect to the roundabout Way: 672795690 and that should carry the tag junction=roundabout.

58893199 almost 7 years ago

Having thought about 'forks' a little longer..best to map a way heading off in the direction of the divergent path .. and put a fixme/note or comment on the last node of the way saying 'continues' .. that will give an indication on the amp of what is there and tell other mappers that it does continue..

Hi,
Welcome to OSM!

Most things in OSM tags are lower case, so industrial=Wind_farm is not good. You are best looking at the OSMwiki for tags to use. According to osm.wiki/Wind_farms#Notes landuse=industrial is not good for wind farms.

The outside of the area you created crosses it self .. that is not good either ...

PS you need to add some more information in your change set comments ... these all look the same.
